Yes, so far, beyond disappointed there has been zero flow on offense.

Nervous about how much stock they seem to put in tempo. Can you ever grow the necessary offensive line going when your main emphasis seems to be going fast?

But it really doesn't matter because everyone knows you have to have success in 2 to 3 years and related to this the buy out is very reasonable (75% of remaining at $7M a year).

I kinda see where you’re coming from. Not as big a deal to me right now but if same after 10 games, yeah it may wear a little thin.

It goes back to what Golesh himself said: You recruit your own problems.

Having a mature coach that can bend with the times, and cope with the shifts of the game would be the most beneficial beneficial news Auburn has received since Pearl accepted Auburn's offer.

Yea, mainly this. I think most are just happy to see him coaching to a standard, no matter what. We haven't had that in quite some time. Everything has a limit though. If the message stays the same but the product never improves, then it will wear off quick.

While he doesn't outright say it, Golesh seems to being trying to do things very similar to Saban. I hope its a while before we find out, but I am curious how he will react after a loss. Saban used to bitch and complain after wins but unlike what you would expect, after a huge loss in a big game, he would usually love on his players.

I guess its the philosophy that I don't want them thinking they are good when they win and don't want them thinking they suck and get down after a loss. We'll see.

I feel somewhat the same our roster isn't where it needs to be and Golesh is figuring that out the hard way. I do think his best option to put some wins together this year was to bring his crew from USF but will require more talent than that to compete at a high level.

Sound NIL policy. You coach'em up make them more marketable that way. Should help draw in the guys wanting a bigger pay day.

We'll see. 7-5 and above - yes.

6-6 and below - no.

Particularly with Brown only having one year.

Just saying bringing his own crew wasn't the only option, and he should be judged accordingly.

What do you want him to say? I don't mind if he does the same schtick every single presser if it's what he wants out there for the players to hear. But it only ultimately means anything if it get results.

There aren't a lot of fun coaches out there in press conferences. Mike Leach was awesome to listen to but a little unserious for a big time program.

Gus and Freeze were very similar in pressers, Gus was a little more likeable to me. Harsin was a little more similar to Golesh but Golesh articulates himself better.

I care very little. I'll be happy with Golesh this year if he can find a way to 7 wins in the regular season. 6 would be acceptable. 5 would not be fireable but would be concerning.
