If we can establish an identity on offense

Bobo will refuse to allow that to happen. This is just the beginning of him and his dumbass play calling. We all witnessed it when he was at Georgia. He always had stud running backs but would inexplicably start throwing the ball around.

I had hope that Harsin would put his own touch on the offense, but I'm telling y'all, Bobo is one of the most frustrating play callers in the country.

Their QB played great against our shotty defensive scheme. Our WRs cant catch shite. 4-5 drops last week. How many this week 5-6? And 2 the receivers never even saw.

Our WR’s are really bad. Nix is mediocre. OL is mediocre. RB’s are absolutely electric. Defense is ok. Think we will struggle against high end QB’s but thankfully there are only a couple in the conference. Jury out on Harsin.. I still feel the same today as I did the day he was hired. He may work out he may not

Players competed just too many bad calls and mistakes.

Nix missing the easy TD on the first drive.

The first play of the second half.

Kicking on 4th and 1.

The 4th down play at the 2 yard line.

The game came down to those 4 plays if we make the right play or call on one or two of those right we probably win the game.

Such a frustrating loss.

ETA: The two timeouts we took were atrocious. 1 on defense with one second on the play clock and the other to call the worst possible play.

he had at least 4 drops on chunk pass plays. If you don't see a difference in his play this year, that's a you problem.

I don't. I also realize he is still playing behind a bad OL. If you want to play the what if game he also had a dropped INT.

Nix looks no better at all. Throws a horrible ball and looks bad doing it. Don’t have a huge ceiling until he is gone.

Still has "happy feet" too. Sure sign he's not properly prepared, and definitely has no confidence.

I was going to say our OC and DC got completely out coached tonight, but add Harsin to the list. The time management/timeouts we're bad. I think we had the better team, but just straight up got out coached tonight.

They never stopped us from running the ball. That’s the truth. We should’ve won tonight.

He’s had bad coaching for many years. If this staff can fix him, it will take a while.

Wtf you talking about some kind of morale victory here? Bobo called a shite paly on the 1st play of the 3rd quarter and I mean worse than Gus stuff. Then that fade call on 4th and 2? Are you kidding me? the O-line actually did better than I thought they would do. This is on some piss poor play calling and the defense not stepping up in key situations when we needed it.

We have a Boise st HC, vandy DC and south Carolina OC. And it showed big time.

It starts at the very top. We just paid $49 million to a guy that is now coaching at UCF and just lost to Louisville.

We had to go to freaking Idaho to hire a guy 99% of our fanbase had never heard of. He brought in a fired Vandy coach that put a female kicker in a game last year, just to make a statement. I'm pretty sure, half us would've called a better offensive game plan, and the other 50% wouldn't have done any worse than the guy that's getting paid big bucks, to do it.

That;s true. The O didn't lose this game. This game was lost on a shitty play calling on O and a piss poor game plan on D. They had somebody wide arse open every time they dropped back.

I felt like teams in the past would be rattled by that environment. This team didn’t really feel like it was. So I feel better about that part. There were just some dumbass mistakes by the coordinators that cost us the game.

Defense wasn't spectacular but if bobo just ran the fricking ball, we win no question.

Mostly because we can't generate a pass rush with 4. It's like watching a replay of the early Gus years.

Didn’t like the play calling, but we have QB and WR that just can’t make plays. We will not win many meaningful games with what we have at those spots.

I didn’t necessarily like the Kobe fumble play call but I’m not gonna hammer him for that. The 4th and 2 call was atrocious, braindead stuff. There is no functional, in-game strategy, or analytical reason to justify that play call. It was terrible to the most naked of football eyes. Beat writers need to ask for direct answers on that one
