I don’t love the idea of railroading a coach after one year, but if you’re going to do it at least make sure he’s dead. Don’t just run over his legs and leave him even more crippled

........and once again we show how attractive our job is to any potential future candidates. We can frick things up with the best of them.
People always talk about how other schools negative recruit us. We give them the ammo.

I hate that the PTB didn’t succeed. I really do.
But it’s undeniable the fan support he built up after he “beat the PTB.” He wasn’t crippled from it.
It did show him that halfassed recruiting wasn’t going to fly. Since then Harsin has made more of effort visiting high schools, meeting the fans, talking to boosters, and participating in Auburn events. Remember when he didn’t show up to a Bo Jackson event? What the PTB did after Harsin went 0-for on NSD while sitting on the beaches of Mexico was absolutely necessary.

Just like everything in the world today. There are 2 truths. Well not really but that’s how we have to act. Either there was a legit investigation. (Which there was) or the PTB’s were just out to get him (which I don’t know) but generally when they are out to get you they win so I doubt that is true.
Harsin’s job at AU will probably be decided by Zach Calzada. Or whoever the starting QB is.

It doesn't matter who the coach is for the next two years. We aren't going to have an amazing football record. That's in part to our tough arse schedule.

It looks bad to dump a coach after one season. Dumping after two seasons isn't great either. But there are two questions which have to be addressed. One, is there a realistic chance that the current coaching staff will make the necessary improvements? Two, if not can Auburn make a better hire?

Dangalang doesn’t care if what he writes is accurate, he is just rehashing every rumor that was thrown out on the interwebz.
He’s a pos of the highest order per usual.

Jesus. What crawled up your snatch?
I read he was either on vacation or left then because it wasn’t expected he would sign anybody. There was no press conference or anything.

No.
The recruiting is lacking, the coaching staff is lacking and the support is lacking.
The hire was a mistake and Auburn needs to cut ties after this year before they get too far behind the rest of the SEC. They’re already behind Georgia, Alabama and TAMU for sure. Ole Miss, Kentucky, Arkansas and Mississippi State are all on the rise. Florida won’t stay down, and they made a great hire.
shite, South Carolina looks like they’re in better position to compete this year.

Y’all are taking this shite way to serious about the future under Harsin. Good God half the board acts like babies if someone disagrees. Name calling is the biggest pussy move ever when trying to discuss a topic. There are 2 to 3 that name calling is all they contribute.
I don’t give a shite if everyone agrees or disagrees with any of my post. Doesn’t matter to me either way. I’m glad there is discussion on the board.

I appreciate the contribution you make to the discussion. You seem to have a bit more insight than some other posters.

Thanks. My biggest fault is I’m ultra alpha. Can’t turn it off.
But there is nothing worse then a dead board. We try to keep it hype
