Yeah Broome was 58% on the season at the FT line.
He played his arse off this game. I wish he hit more, but he was an instrumental component of the 1st half success.

Watching that choke job in person was awful. Just awful. Outplayed them in the first half. Got their best players in foul trouble and then literally blew it.

It wasn't all in Broome. He was also one of the guys pushing the play. Everybody sucked.

Would you rather he cry at the line? It was either laugh in disbelief or cry in shame...
Just a terribly inconsistent team with no real identity. You can pile on the FT shooting, and it's warranted. But when we were 11/23 at the stripe, we were 2 for 20 at the same time on FGs in the 2nd half. So, like I said, just inconsistent all the way around. Even the defense just went away for the last 10 minutes of the game.
Still better than some of the garbage basketball teams I've endured for a long damn time.

Yep. It couldn’t have gone any worse than it did. I woulda rather got blown out in the first half than up 10 and frick it up how we did.
