People think you can throw money at shite and make it smell good.

People on other boards and Twitter are talking about needing a new coach lol because he makes $5m a year.

I said a couple years ago the only coach I would take over Bruce was Jay Wright. And now Wright is an analyst because of some health issues. I still feel the same. Bruce at this point is Auburn basketball. We can complain and fuss but it’s probably best just to put faith in the man and let him do his thing and see how it works out. I love the fact that our fan base is pissed about making the tournament and losing in the 2nd round tho

shite happens.

Once he started missing he was in trouble. Seemed like it caught on. I’m sure there are books on this. We have seen it with pitchers, batters, kickers, basketball players, and Kevin Costner in a golf movie. shite happens.

I feel for the guy.

Maybe we need one of them sports
Psychologist in the off season to give mitigations to this.

I pitch for my 8 year old daughter's coach pitch team.

The batter only gets 5 pitches and then automatically out unless they foul the last pitch. They're destined to maybe hit one out of three good pitches assuming I even throw three good pitches in a five pitch sequence.

Needless to say I've been mowing my own team down, moms are mad, and I end up laughing in frustration because I suck and I am only out there embarrassing myself.

Leave Broome alone!

Surprisingly Broome was only 6-16 from the line tonight. If felt like 2-20.

Been there Jang. Try 8 year old travel ball and you’re the number 2 team in the state playing the number 1 team with the bases loaded and 2 outs. Sean Jackson comes up and I strike him out with a chance to win. That’s why I will always love that kid. He even at 8 years old tried to take the blame. And it was my shitty pitching. However I wasn’t the usual pitcher but still.

Speaking of we had games all day long today the middle school team played away. 9th grade, JV, and Varsity all played at home. We got blasted on varsity this game. Not something that usually happens but gave up 9 runs in the second so I threw my son in to eat up innings and he threw 5 innings of 2 hit ball giving up only 1 run. So disappointed coach and proud dad all in one game try managing that. And we start area games next week. It’s insane how quick baseball season goes by. 6 weeks in reality prior to postseason

I attribute some, if not much, of Broome's FT problems to being exhausted. He was our only real threat to get a rebound, block a shot/protect the rim, or put up an interior contested shot near the rim. His game and FT shooting progressively deteriorated as the game got away from us and as Houston's athletes wore him down. He also contributed much to the Houston team's foul problems. Aside from his FT problems, he did about all he could do against Houston's more talented athletes.

So let's be honest, the team with better athletes won last night and in the end that athleticism won out. Houston is a very good team and there is no shame in losing to a better team that may well win the NC this year. I would not bet against them.

This is probably true. Cardwell, who the last couple years I thought was a solid to above average backup 5, has kinda shown he can’t really compete at the highest level of competition. He was unplayable in this game and in several games down the stretch. Some of it might be due to lingering back injury. But it hurt Broome having to play so many minutes

We don’t understand coaching markets as a fanbase. Well a lot don’t.

Some people laugh when they are embarrassed or ashamed. I suspect that was the case.

Guy was on national TV playing his heart out exhausted watching the game slip out of reach because he couldn't hit a free throw. I'm sure those weren't IDGAF laughs.

More like laughing to keep from crying while watching your boat sink knowing you cant save it.

What do you want him to do?

I am sure it was out of embarrassment than not caring. We all have done it. I also heard the announcers say he was very unhappy with himself and showed frustration.

This is just a stupid focus you tend to do.
