The most recent comparable win I found was September 29, 2007, at No. 4 Florida. Auburn was a 21-point underdog and won 20-17 on a Wes Byrum 43-yard field goal as time expired. The only other 21-point upset I found was the 2001 win over No. 1 Florida, 23-20.

It's also notable that the 2007 and 2026 wins both came on last-second field goals.

We were a 16 point underdog despite being ranked 6th in 1994 when we knocked off #1 Florida on the road. This one is definitely bigger though in terms of hopefully changing the trajectory of the program.

I've done similar gyrations in the air and landed but it's always preprogrammed, like a snowboarder* doing loops you know which way to twist, but to split second that vision while airborne and then step back into rhythm is elite.

I once picked up a botte cap with my toes and tossed it up onto the counter and it landed in a drinking glass. I've done all sorts of 1 in a high number stunts like that but almost never on purpose.

2001 game winner was with :10 seconds left, so pretty close to a walkoff

I was remembering that one last night. Duval kicked with the wind blowing. It was a nasty weather day.

I was there in the north endzone and it looked like a clear shank then started hooking straight through. Almost immediately after the kick it started pouring rain.

Like all the supposed dynasties of the SEC. Auburn is and has always been the dynasty killer. We have always beaten UF when they were good. However they have returned the favor at times. When UGa went with Dooley and won the MNC with Walker in walks a guy named Pat Dye that wins one as well (however just recognized this offseason) and a character by the name of Vincent “Bo” Jackson. And Bo over the top was the beginning of the end for the Bear. Even Tuberville held his own when LSU was trying to rise. Then bama brings in Saban and and Auburn counters with Cam and Malzhan. We were basically the only SEC team that could beat them.

We are known for massive upsets so not sure where this ranks for me. We will have to see how the season plays out and how the program goes. Was a great win but isn’t deserving of a game name.

But if you are talking just upset based on perception and underdog total it’s the biggest since 94 at UF which is insane since the 2 teams played the year before and beat them. We drove Spurrier absolutely insane.

Our history speaks for itself we are one of the most dominant programs of all time. And honestly should never approach being 20ish point dogs to anyone. Yes we will lose some game by 20 or more but going in should never be considered close to that.

That Florida game with byrum but this was way bigger. One of, if not the biggest, victory I've witnessed. Simply because of everything going on

Twice. He kicked the first one, and it was good, but Myer called a timeout as Byrum moved on the ball, so the ref waved it off. Byrum lined up again, and the rest is history.

What’s crazy is UF has never had a perfect season in the history of its program.

We have 12 undefeated seasons and 7 perfect seasons.

I think this compares more to the 2002 Alabama game. I had expectations of a slaughter going into that one, and we dominated the game. I still remember the Bham reporter on the local TV station with this utterly devastated look on his face after the game.

01 Florida is the closest to me. From 02 to 07 i never thought there was a game we couldn't win. Those teams dropped some random games but we beat a lot of really good teams home and away and almost always gave them hell even when we lost. I haven't felt that about auburn football since late 2014

I’m not sure this isn’t the biggest upset in Auburn history.

The game in ‘01 vs #1 Florida, but that was at home.

I was there in ‘93 vs Florida but they were #4 and we were undefeated at the time.

2007 at UF was big and it was a very similar game to Saturday. Gators were #4 and We were unranked.

2017 vs #1 UGA and #1 Bama we’re both at home . And we were ranked.

2013 at A&M was big but they were ranked #7.

I’m pretty convinced this UGA game is the biggest regular season upset in my lifetime.

Right, in 93 we picked off Wuerfell at the goal like for a 99 yard pick six. In 94 we were on an 18 game win streak and Florida was #1 and undefeated. It took a miracle touchdown from Nix to Sanders in the final 30 seconds to win.

‘01 in some ways felt similar but we were also fresh off an SECCG appearance

Not to mention Spurrier trying to run up the score when he had the ball with under a minute and a lead and threw deep against the best secondary in college football.
