Goldberg’s Twitter bio reads, “Lecturer @ Auburn U | Black Studies, Critical Prison Studies, Queer Theory, American Literature | Abolitionist | martial artist | views are mine | he/him/his.”

Facilitating worthless degrees and subsequently, indirectly national debt contributions, great. Right up there with Auburn's School of Fisheries, Aquaculture, and Aquatic Sciences (#1 in the world) having an academic exchange agreement with China.

Edit: forgot, also wasting taxpayer money on grants for agenda studies and devious journal articles in this academic sector to simply boost its diversity and sociopolitical optics.

frick that pussy. What a bitch. I am really hoping the financial strain of the rona forces universities to send little bitches like this back to barista training.

A big part of why things are so fricked up. How did we get to this place in time. Half our country are pussified little fricks.

1) Why the frick is someone calling himself an abolitionist 154 years after the 13th amendment was ratified? It's stupid, an an insult to the real abolitionists who fought against slavery?

2) I'm saddened and disappointed that my alma mater would have classes in Critical Prison Studies and Queer Theory. What the hell would anyone need to take those for? Sure won't help you in the real world.

3) Apparently he is a new hire, which means he doesn't have tenure. Maybe the school can find a way to let him go before he totally fricks some folks up.

I read his bio and he wants to end prisons too. He’s a fricked up whack job and Auburn is paying him to spew his insanity.

Some of these professors live in a bubble of whatever stupid field they study and social media. People like this are why tuition is through the roof. Cut the bullshite and teach people useful things.

Aight lemme say upfront that I think having an African-American Studies curriculum is absolutely necessary at a university with a past like Auburn’s and it needs to be building it up. 10/10 call administratively as far as that goes.

That being said:

Why tf we gonna go out and hire a WHITE DUDE to do that???

What a tool. Anyone with pronouns in their bio needs to be institutionalized.

I don't care if he teaches 8000 level classes to whackjob kids. I do care that he'll probably end up teaching core courses where instead of actual literature he makes 19 year olds spend the semester reading works on queer theory.

That has happened since I was a student and happens at every college, which is why you can graduate from college with a liberal arts degree without knowing anything concrete and without having read more than a handful of significant literary works.

I’m going to ask you why you think it’s necessary?

I’m fine with offering it if people want it but is it necessary? Do people need a college level course on African American studies? How is that going to benefit people in their everyday life going forward after college?

I understand it’s important for everybody to have a base knowledge in a lot of different subjects. But I feel like college courses are meant to be a deep dive and should be more tailored to a specific career. What career do you go in where you need a deep dive in African American studies? Besides professor obviously
