Could be they also reached their highest potential in high school and didn’t put in the work. I didn’t look at the list but was Raven Gray counted on it like 5 times like he was in the recruiting rankings lol

Small updates so far today.
Myles Pollard ended up choosing Mich as expected. According to KN the staff tried to make a big push for him.
A twist though, Micah Pollard (Cousin of Caden Story)is now hearing a lot from Mich and KN said there's some confidence coming from their end.
KN says Caleb Wooden will probably be in the class soon. KN and Caldwell CB'd him to Auburn yesterday and Wiltfong put one in today.
KN and an LSU guy put in a CB for Alston to Auburn.
Tons of CB's for Micah Riley-Ducker to AU today.
Jakobi Albert release a top 3 today of Auburn, Maryland, and Mich. KN said the other 2 schools are pushing harder for right now, with Mich probably leading.
KN also said Demetrius Robertson shouldn't take too much longer to make his choice known. Not date though, but still likes Auburn here.
I think that's everything.

Not getting Story would be a big miss. He’s already set to commit so hopefully we don’t hear of any plans to reschedule that.

Are we in on any highly ranked guys?
I haven’t paid much attention to recruiting. I’ve seen the rants troll threads and some of the the melt here.
Just asking. Not trying to start an argument with anybody. I just looked up all the guys in that update and none of them are very highly rated.

Honestly, not many top 100 guys. Lots of lower 4* to upper 3* types. Including about 20 guys within 30 spots of a 4* rating and many will get that bump eventually.

If we can get a couple more commits and some momentum hopefully we can get going. Once we get some games played and players get to see the systems surely some commits to other schools could flip

I don’t think we have had a 5 star safety. The only 5 star WR I think was Obamanu or however it’s spelled. Our list of 5 star players isn’t very long. Even Tank fell to a 4 star about midway through his senior season after the fumblefest he had his first game as a senior.

TBH, Dye and Chiz are the only two AU coaches who prioritized recruiting. There is nothing stopping AU from pulling elite talent. We just need to get out of our way.

This is the worst I have seen recruiting. Hopefully is picks up. We got a good QB and the #1 kicker.

Keith made his "rock on" post on 247 which means we got a commitment. Guessing its MRD since he's committing in a couple hours.

To be fair to Caleb it’s not like he is a terribly low ranked prospect. He’s rated at 0.8527 and the #57 Safety on the composite. To compare him to some of the other lower ranked DBs we’ve recruited in recent years:
Jordyn peters - 0.8544
Traivion Leonard - 0.8398
Roger McCreary - 0.8532
Daniel Thomas - 0.8233
Jeremiah Dinson - 0.8375
All those guys turned out pretty good. 4 starters and 1 key backup and ST’er. I’m not saying that he will be a key starter, I’m just saying don’t count the kid out just cause he’s a 3*.
