Yes he was.
The problem with recruiting..........we know what kids are telling our staff (and he knew) but we have no idea what the same kids are telling other staff's.

Dumb question but I read he was 10/16 on FGs last year which doesn't sound good. Is his ranking based on kicking camps or what?

I think he tried a couple from around 60 yards and multiple over 50 plus.

Yeah I’m pretty sure he was kicking bombs all year

Almost exclusively camps. It’s the only setting you get reliable and measurable data from for kicking

I hope you are right. I am not excited about him right now. But honestly, I was not really excited about anyone that was being mentioned during the coach search any more. I think he is a good coach. I am not sure if he is a SEC coach though. Not here where its very hard.
I like the Bobo hire and I like the Mason hire. Im still on the fence with BH. Im not really mad. I think we are about where I thought we would be. He is going to have to do some good to get some guys to come. Or hook up with some good companies to pay them to come.
