With a one loss by 2 points to Vermont.

Early days for sure but wish him the best, didn’t want to see him totally crash and burn.

Would be fitting for us to get matched up with them at some point in the future, assuming he can hang in the Big East.

1st round in March would work for me. We all know what Mike does in post season play.

I think Mike will do ok st st john. hes a decent coach for sure. you dont always hit .500 or better by being a bad coach. he just was missing the details stuff and recruiting which has only become more important as we go along

Look at their upcoming schedule. Mike is about to have some tough games.

They showed an interview with players last night during the game and they discussed how hard core Muss is about scouting other teams and game planning. The players said that was a huge difference from last year when they rarely scouted teams.

No bad blood towards mike but if that’s true that’s a big reason why he is no longer employed here.

Mike will be able to connect with the community up there and I think he'll pull in some really good players. Wish him the best unless he's against us.

Nobody hated Mike here, the modern game and all of its secondary stuff just passed him but and he was too stubborn to adapt.

You simply can't have a coach now and expect to compete nationally if he doesn't recruit and market his program as an NBA factory.

Would prefer title change to Coach Mike Anderson and drop the "suitcase". He is a Hog for life, and was respectful to the fans and program. We had to pay no buyout since he got a job instead of milking the U of A.

Let's return the favor and show the man some respect.

Thankfully almost everyone did when he returned for the court dedication to Nolan. Clapping was louder than anything else when he walked on the court.

wish mike the best. Even after he said he would get me a job.

Mike left the program in better shape than what he inherited.

It was tongue and cheek dude. Mocking Mizzou trash.

Love the guy and he set our program up for big success with some talent and solid graduation rate.

Also deserves huge credit for being top 3 in SEC wins since the 2014 expansion. We were quietly really, really solid.

We had the Qualls team and then the Macon/d team.

Two best teams in the last 20 years by far. And certainly fun as hell to watch.

There's been a mysterious drop off in free throw shooting at SJU this year

Inspiring effort today by St. John's. Red Storm had poise against West Virginia's pressure and executed. Heck of a win for Mike Anderson in his Madison Square Garden debut. #SJUBB
