We finish at number 14 out of 16 teams. Beating out Mississippi State and Vandy. Despite having “more money than anybody else”.

13 out of 16 by player average which is what matters. Ahead of Mizzou, Kentucky, Vandy.

The portal matters more.

The 3 starters are replaced or will not be missed, backups were backups for a reason.

The oline is being addressed and we picked up some receivers which were the positions I was concerned about. It’s not over yet.

Portal will make a world of difference if handled correctly! Must have NIL for the portal!

Just like every other year since immediate eligibility, Arkansas will bring in more talent than they lose.

Yep, we got a 5 star linebacker to replace a 4 star, we have what appears to be quality qb depth for a change and I haven’t heard of anyone sad KJ retired, and rocket had become a non factor and we have quality depth there.

We brought in some oline help and a new coach so hopefully we’ll improve and I’m not sure Sam is through looking for more linemen.

Good dline players coming in as well.

Screw the ratings, issues are being addressed.

I haven’t really looked, but the number everyone should he obsessed with is average player rating. Bama and Georgia and A&M have been trading off setting the record for highest of all time, last I heard it was 92ish.

What is ours?

Chris Paul is the number 1 linebacker in the portal my prediction is next year we’re a little better on offense but worse on defense equalling a 5-7/6-6 record. Basically just played by wacka-mole.

Yeah it seems like that's our problem the majority of the time we've been in the SEC. We have issues during the season, coaches address them in the offseason after it's too late, then the issues change to the other side of the ball, rinse and repeat. 2014 and 2015 is a perfect example.

Our purpose in SEC football is to provide a W for the programs that actually invest in the product they put on the field. We’re basically on Alabama’s payroll.

This would carry weight if you didn't see the ratings manipulated when a recruit, say leaves Arkansas and signs with bama, the bump is real.

Comparing relative to previous years may have some truth to it, but over all every recruiting sitea haav manipulated the team rankings to fit a teir system of teams how they want.

I used to say re-rank each class after 3 years on campus....but very few are staying that long anymore.

Arkansas will never have top 15 recruiting classes unless they win big or they are a brand name like Oregon.

Oregon only started to be ranked in the top 15 after they ruined the services have to have top x class to play for th NC metric when they faced auburn in 2010.

Kinda like no team has won the NCAA tourney without a McDonald's AA since 1979.
