There's also the chance we could have another Petrino moment. shite on the conference for a few years, get nationally relevant again, then go out in flames. Hell of a lot more fun than worrying about NIT seeding.

We're the king of keeping lame duck coaches for no good reason at all. Nutt's 2 year pass. Bert's 2017 season. Ford in '97. Pelphrey in 2010-11.
We're a docile, patient program fully willing to excuse losing and endure another year for no reason at all. It's almost cliche by now.
