I didn’t believe in them much before but definitely don’t now. Hope I’m wrong though.

To be fair, it’s being talked about everywhere and ONE guy on HOGVILLE said Petino. Other than that, he is not linked to the rumors that I have seen

^^ and pretty sure that post got deleted. Pitino will not be the next hog coach, but I fully believe Anderson will be gone by 5:00 Monday.

I agree with Dale and Nolan. Even at Arkansas's height we only ever briefly recruited at the top of the heap. And they won a title with it.
Since then it has become too common-place for players to leave early for a program that doesn't recruit at the very top to have success. A lot of people are saying that the team being young isn't an excuse, and I get that, but it's also a fact. Unless you are getting those players at the very, very top of the recruiting rankings, you're gonna have to build a team over the long term.
It's pretty obvious to see what the other teams are doing to try and break into that upper tier of recruiting...They're going to jail.
But hey, if they fire Mike, they fire Mike.

Although, there is a chance that right now is a good time to get into the carousel. I wonder if certain coaches from certain schools may look to sorta mosey out of town before the NCAA gets ahold of them.
