Multiple people coming out saying they’re hearing Mike’s gone. No word on when and if it’s him stepping down or being let go.

Some info coming from big Mike supporters so makes me feel there could be legs here

I have heard from a friend in media that the stories are being written, and Mike will not be the coach for the Hogs next year. Not sure of announcement date or if it’s a firing/resignation.

Naming the court after Nolan and his speech should be fireworks if true.

Edit: Best case is he resigns in late Friday news dump.

I hope so, but I'm not buying into shite until it's official.

That it is better than 50/50 Mike is out.

I'll let y'all know if I change my tune obviously, but I think Mike helped himself with the 3-game run there late and the way they played Kentucky. Had that six game streak continued on into 7, 8, 9, 10, that probably would have been it for him. I think we're more likely to see shakeup with the staff than we are to see Mike go....but I won't close the door on that, either.

Yeah really sounds gone.

Ive heard the idea floated that he would join the AD's office in a administrative role.

That would be fantastic. I'd love for him to be a part of the hogs just not the head coach.

I've heard he hates the recruiting aspect of CBB.

And now the Chaney transfer rumors have really started to heat up as well. I think he is waiting to see if Mike is retained or not. If Mike stays, he's gone. If Mike is gone, he stays supposedly.

Hate it for him, he seems to be a really nice guy and a great representative for the university... but that's not what he's paid for primarily.

Numbers in the wins column and butts in the seats.
Neither of which have been up to our expectations over the last 8 years.

I wish him well.

If he stays we will lose 3 guys to transfer for sure and possibly another 2. For the sake of the program I hope mike is shown the door because we will be fricked if we lose 5 guys to transfer.

Who all? Chaney according to the post a few above yours and who else? And do they not get along with Mike or just feel like they would be better off somewhere else? If someone knows that is.

I’ve heard Ibby mentioned around here. If we lose him and Chaney it’s dunzo for a firing next year.

Would not be surprising to see Chaney, Jones, Ibby, Henderson, Joe plus Gafford (going pro no matter what) not in a hog uniform if Anderson stays.
