So, 247 board is saying that Jaylin Williams is STILL testing positive for China virus.

If that's the case, then he will be in serious jeopardy of even playing in the NCAA Tourney. They're say you have to have 3 negative tests AND 14 days of quarantine.

If he's still popping hot, that means he's out the entire first weekend at least and possibly the next, which would, in all likelihood sink any chances at any kind of deep run.

gonna be rough without J. Williams in the NCAA if true. I can't find the thread on 247 though.

How great would it be if the meme came to life and he does

If I'm honest with myself we're an above average team with a huge weak spot without Williams. Not good. Outside of Smith he's the worst person for us to lose. Even Moody we could somewhat replace with guard depth.

The stupid thing is according to the CDC you can test positive on a PCR for weeks but you’re not contagious after 10 days.

Here's the link to the thread: LINK

There seems to be a lot of differing opinions over there on whether he actually has to test negative 3 times or if he just had to quarantine for 14 days (10 days isolation and then a 4 day turnaround time).

They're saying that someone can test positive for months after vthey have it, so the quarantine time is the big issue, not the negative testing. That was only to snuff out a false positive.

And depending on when he first tested hot, that 14 day period may be close to expiring. We'll see. The SCar have was March 2.

If he tested positive the day before, then theoretically he may be able to return full go on Monday (March 15).

Just in time to miss the entire SEC tourney, but back fully for the Dance.

There may be hope yet. That thread also says that he's going to be in Nashville with the AD, but won't be able to play. He's currently in the re-acclimation stage.

If that is actually true, there is no way they would bring him if his positive tests were still an issue

We are probably at best sweet sixteen. But mostly likely a loss in the second round.

That great Arkansas media showing it’s journalism prowess once again.

If he isn’t cleared he isn’t making the trip. These teams are quarantined until they lose in the NCAA tournament. They aren’t taking him if he can’t play.

Biddy is going off message board rumors and nobody else knows shite.

Hell, I even heard Tommy Craft say 2 days ago the basically guaranteed Jaylin Williams would be playing in the SEC tournament. OK...

The dude who has 50 followers on Twitter who first reported the news seems to know more than the entire Arkansas media combined.

He is definitely not with the AD and is with the team...

Also, did they ever say the exact injury to KK? Dude has been in that cast and crutches for over 2 months now. Must have been serious or he injured it more trying to play through it.

I’ve wondered the same about KK. I hope he is able to drop the crutches soon.

J Will being with the team but not playing is beyond stupid. Apparently the only reason he isn’t playing this weekend has to do with University policy on COVID. We need to pull an Ohio State and change our own rules.

So he's for sure not playing?

Feel like there hasn't been any accurate information.

IMO misinformation with regards to Williams playing or not would be wanted by mussleman before the game

We won't know if he plays until the game

I agree but we’ve seen this in football where a player test positive, can’t play, but can hang out on the sideline. Just infuriates me.
