Dude's page may look like a troll, but he's been dead on for numerous stories before they're released, including Williams being out for the final regular season games.

Apparently there is a 4-day reconditioning period after the required 10-day quarantine for COVID so that's why. But if that's true he should be good to go for the NCAA Tournament.

We lose to Missouri on Friday and we will be well rested for the NCAA tournament.

Loss to Mizzou we still likely hold at a 3 seed I’d think right? Lots of teams around us have lost and Mizzou wouldn’t be a “bad” loss. Now if we get Georgia need to beat them regardless. Don’t want to see Tillman again honestly especially without Williams.

Would need absolute chaos to get to a 1 seed. If we lose to mizzou, we are a low 3 seed. If we win 2 games, we should be a 2 seed

Not a big deal IMO, will be back to practice for NCAAT prep. We're locked as a 3 seed.

Honestly I think win one lose the next is the optimal situation. Come away with a 3 seed, get home, rest, and prep.
Hard to gauge whether the rest is more valuable than keeping our hot streak alive. I just feel like it's better for our chances in the dance.

They get five days rest this week and and 4/5 days rest before the first round game of the ncaas if they were to make it to the finals of the sect.
That is more rest than at any other point during the regular season...

Agree, you make a good point. It just seems like teams that win their conference tourney shoot their wad too early, not counting truly elite teams that can almost do it with their B squad.
It's more of a philosophical debate with no clear answer. I just hope we've got our dancing shoes on no matter what happens in the conference tourney.

I want them to take home the SECT Title and keep the momentum going into the NCAA. These are kids that have played basketball year round most of their lives. They're not going to get tired. They can rest after the season is over.
