Saw one Twitter dude with 6k followers say cal being mentioned at Denver and that was it. He woulda gone pro years ago if he ever actually wanted to. Sure that dude saw him shaking LeBrons hand and tried to stir the pot to get some views.

Ready Player One was so much better than Ready Player Two at least lol. The nostalgia in a lot of book one hit, still liked it fine though when I reread before 2 came out. And yea he is the definition of a Mary Sue

Taking a brief sci-fi break and debating what to get back into. Red rising reread (dark age up next), continue Cradle Series (finished 2, took a long break inbetween to read Wind and truth and started red rising reread), or start Sun Eater saw some recs on here and synopsis sounds dope. Had trouble finishing cradle two but once I finally got back into it liked it. Loved the Eithan dude.

Thought it had to do with LA Knight or Logan getting in the way/stealing the moment. Him getting eliminated after all his shite talking kinda sucked.

Do we really need Lift flashbacks? Unless they’re flashing back to Vasher training her. Edgedancer was her intro don’t think we need much more but what to I know. The rest sound cool.

Hey at least you have multiple points and articulate them. Most the people on fb threads are just yelling Sanderson sucks he shite the bed, he can’t write anymore, etc. I do think he heard some of the “Sanderson doesn’t have the best prose” shite online because ever since the secret projects he’s seemed to want to make his conversations “deeper” if that makes sense. He dropped some dimes in Tress and Yumi at least, seemed to maybe be trying to hard and that. The humor too but i liked that for the most part. All that said Honors dead but I’ll see what I can do line had me yelling “frick yes” outloud :lol:

I was most upset we didn’t get allomancer vs radiants this book but it’s obviously coming. Agreed Adolin was by far and away the hero of this book. I loved it the only part that felt forced was the renarin/rlain stuff. I didn’t care they’re gay and I liked that Drehy brought it up to Renarin! That’s good friend stuff! Everything else felt beyond forced as others have said. I’m on reread I’m sure there is a lot of fat that should have been trimmed.
