Target let me buy Winds and Truth by Sanderson 2 days early whenever it was coming out. Asked a kid and he said yea they’re in the back let me go get it for you lol. Might go try that again.
Just started Eye of Bedlam Bride reread. Gonna be avoiding spoilers for a couple weeks it looks like :banghead:
lol back at ya. We got another one or two other Sigep alum on here.

Agreed this dude seems like another Semedo but who knows.
Loved it. Funny with action. Spellslinger was fun as well but more YA. He’s got another series I’ll definitely check out at some point.

Doing a reread and just started butchers masquerade. Was worried they wouldn’t hold up as well on reread but if anything they’re better. 2nd book probably the weakest for me if felt so mashed together. Liked gate of feral gods a lot more this go through for some reason.
Finished Empire of the Vampire trilogy. Loved it. Sex scenes were a bit much sometimes but it every book was great. On to finishing Carl
Reread before the Parade of Horribles
We go to Portland but Mizzou gets to stay in St. Louis. How.

Our Net is at 16 today. Win at Mizzou you’re looking at a 4 seed. Only difference between 4 and 5 is you get a slightly easier first round matchup, still need to avoid a 1 with good bigs. Win whole SEC a three has to be in play especially if you beat Florida.
Grimdark is fine. Pretty sure Malazan desensitized me to a lot lol. Couple others seriously recommended. Prob gonna do them and then Carl reread. Thanks for the notes
Kings of the Wyld and its sequel were both awesome. Has humor along with action mixed in. I need to start my Carl reread soon, forgot if it was here or a fb thread but I’m finishing Spellslinger series this week. It has been a good not great series (liked the Greatcoats more) how was his other series if anyone’s started it?

Next either starting Carl reread of doing Empire of the Vampire. Got it from the library heard the trilogy was top stuff.
Dj Williams on radio today said Silverfield texted him out of the blue Sunday to let him know all former players are welcome for whatever they need so yay on that end at least.

Bout to turn 40. Was too young to understand the 94 championship and how special it was. 98 was when I started going to a lot of football games so it was fun to see the stadium going crazy and some winning success. That Kentucky game at Little Rock still brings back memories. There are some good times but man there’s a lot of wtf. Going to school during the Heath and Pel years in basketball sucked.
Your missing Elantris and his Arcanum Unbounded collection of short stories. I’d recommend

Mistborn era 1
Mistborn era 2 (stop at book 6)
Elantris
Warbreaker
Arcanum unbounded
Stromlight 1-4
Mistborn the Lost Metal
The secret project books
Stormlight 5.

Might be missing something there.
Only negative is I hope this doesn’t kill his writing output. Only natural to assume it will slow but we’re all too aware of the other famous sci-fi author who got two big once his stuff got on tv (Sanderson is not George but still)
