Vanover hasn't been terrible this year. He did have some good games, he was just a terrible matchup against Tilmon.

Whenever we play fast athletic teams, Vanover is just too big of a liability to have on the floor. And LSU has athletes and Alabama has even more.
I think where Vanover could actually shine though is if we get matched up against some slow Big 10 type team where he can really just come in as a shot blocker. But if we go against other top SEC type teams with a lot of horsepower, he's never going to see the floor.
