I guess I’m remembering wrong, but I liked Enos’s offense.

Enos was good and did a great job developing BA and AA. 2016 and 2017 weren't his fault with all of the OL issues.

He probably would have helped Austin but the OL issues got him hurt.

I’ve said BMFP and Merlins, but I’d take Enos.

I think it’s further proof that Sam believes the future is like Kirby does. Lots of great tight ends, a couple playmaker/possession WRs, big backs and a QB who can just extend the plays.

I’m just sad we didn’t finally get to see briles offense at its peak which would’ve been this year. A bunch of giants on the outside to throw jump balls to if any of them get one on one matchups with a power run game inside. Hopefully enos will be fine but we still need to find our one on one matchup this year and attack it with all the height we have

Enos runs a lot more pistol now, interested to see how KJ looks in that offense

Maryland was 55th in total offense last year. 65th yards per play.

We did though, that BYU game was peak. That Ole Miss first half… it was never going to astronomically better without 5 star play makers at every position, but then it doesn’t really matter who is the coach.

The thing I don’t get is, why leave for anything short of a g5 HC gig?

I said this yesterday - he probably has his eyes on something better than G5 or lower tier P5 for his first HC gig. He probably thinks going to TCU and putting up tons of points in that shitty conference will put him in position to land a p5 top 25 level HC gig, and he’s probably right.

More money, lesser competition, and a chance to go back to TX.

So y'all don't like Enos coming back?

I think most of us are pretty excited for Enos to be back.

Taking a wait and see approach vs. hysterics either way. Equally important--are we able to retain the transfer and skill players who have recently committed since it's likely Briles had some role in getting them here? If many of them leave, it won't really matter who the OC is for next season.

I am whelmed. Not very flashy, but we could have done much worse (see the Clint Trickett rumors that popped up early on).

I didn't really care much for Briles with y'all. Do you seem him as much of a loss really? I really like the Pit Boss and hope he does well.

I love that Enos is back. He's a great QB Coach and play caller. I'm excited to see what he can do with KJ.
