Z needs to chill the f out though. Otherwise, pretty good first half.

Cal can coach, don't let ignorant bitter Kentucky fans tell you otherwise because their local radio retards said so.
The game has passed him by was one of the stupidest takes I'd ever heard.

He is still same old Cal and can still coach.
Davis is coming back into form.
My hope is Aidoo is going to wake up after his minutes went to scrub minutes the last two games.
If he can start providing good minutes it will help tremendously. Z is coming around but he isn't a true 40 min a game player.

Davis seems to be thriving in the absence of boogie
Pressure shows what someone is made of and he had pressure to step up. Props to him.

If Aidoo steps up to how he played last year we will be a team nobody wants to play.
I’m having some “Nick Smith” fears beginning to brew seeing Boogie back on the bench. Team dynamics are so important.

So we proably need to win 4 or 5 of the last 9 to make the dance.
Probable wins: LSU
Probable losses: @A&M, @ Auburn
Toss ups: Missouri, @ USC, @ Vandy, Bama, MSU, Texas
I see us winning 4 and landing squarely on the bubble.

Nelly starting to find it again. He could be the catalyst to get us going.
Team has a totally different feel than it did two weeks ago. If J. Adioo could just get it figured out offensively the sky could be the limit for this bunch.

Getting a head start on the next team drama to invent. Brought to you by the same folks that ran with the love triangle

We beat Bama then we are well on our way. We lose to Bama, i think it’s more likely than not we miss the tourney.

mehh! I don't see it that way myself.
Lose to Bama, and Barn... still have LSU, TAMU, Mizzou, USCe, Vandy, Texas and State...
We have 3 wins, magic number is most likely 7... 4 of those is doable imho. Possibly 5-6...

So is he out for the season no matter what or is he “out unless we make tourney” out?
It’d be a very tough call if we keep winning and he’s suddenly available late March/Early April.

double... whatever...

I've been as impressed with his defense as I have his offense. The dude is a terror in the passing lanes. 3.25 SPG since the UGA game.

I say you take him if available but as a depth piece, try to keep the roles the same as they are now. Let him spell DJ, since we don't really have anyone that can do that reliably right now

Yeah, he caught my eye on defense last night, so I started paying attention to that specifically. He was absolutely glued to his man, and took zero time off on the defensive end. Really impressive.

The whole team is playing really good defense.
Some slips here and there where they go below screens but when they remember, they’re pretty damn good.
Z has been an absolute monster on the boards and down low. WTF got into him? Get a little more consistent finishing down there on offense and this is a nasty little group.
Gotta get something out of Aidoo but like what I’m seeing from Knox and Richmond.

Meh, I don't think it's drama.
Score first point guards are typically boom or bust in college hoops. Those types absolutely thrive in the NBA, I get it. But when they're cold in a college game there's just not enough game clock to overcome an off night by your superstar PG.
Not to mention, a shoot first guard eventually causes a stagnant offense.
Now you've got a true run the offense PG in Wagner running the show. Is he better than Boogie? No. Is he better for the offensive team chemistry? So far, yes.

I think it's really hard to say, we flat out weren't hitting shots prior and asking Boogie to do way more as a result. Boogie back with Nellie finally playing up to potential and hitting shots may be even better who knows.
