Everyone expected us to be boat raced by Missouri

It's not that they lost it's how and what they looked like while doing it.

Big difference in getting boat raced and looking totally incompetent in all phases of the game. You can lose big and still see glimmers of hope for the future. This SHOULD have been Sam's biggest year. And don't even throw that "but we played close to this team or that." We looked like shite in those games too. We just lucked into them not having their best games on those days.

I think the bigger issue is how completely uninterested we looked

The big thing was supposed to be the players would fight to make Pitt look good

Hell we even had a brawl and still stayed in a shell. Tough to be positive after seeing that

I expected us to lose, because Missouri is a good team this year and we are not.

But considering the whole situation, I *at least* expected our team to put up a fight and make it tough for them. I expected our players to play hard for their last game of the season and for their coach, and to prove the doubters wrong. I did not expect a complete blowout at home again with the stadium empty by halftime.

There is no excuse for this performance, yet again. And I'm generally someone that tries to stay positive and see the light side instead of dark.

You're on an island all alone here hawgfan. Just because you "stopped caring about sports years ago" doesn't mean everyone else has.

It'll take a mountain of balls for HY to step up and say he made a mistake in guaranteeing another season last week, but I think it has to be done to salvage ANYTHING remaining. I believe HY is smart enough to figure this out himself, because a literal retard like me can see it.
