Administrators never admit to making mistakes. Sam will “decide” to retire with nearly a full buyout.

Your use of insults & passive aggressiveness to control others would make for an interesting psych evaluation.

Just own your high and mighty loser mentality and getting called on it. Here’s how anyone who reads anything of yours who isn’t stupid comes away feeling:

That’s so depressing to hear. I was really hoping he’d have a change of heart after this shite show. I just don’t see how anyone can justify bringing him back. There is zero momentum with this staff and it’s only going to get worse when the transfers and decommits start.

When people are getting polled about which OC to hire in stead of which HC... Yeah man! This is where we are. But it most definitely is the BOT's fault. They went to the right, when they should have went left (Not political).

Nil should have not been an issue in football to begin with, then we wouldn't have this excuse to keep a coach. Other coaches know our NIL situation better than most of our fans (agents knowledge) etal.

But that Popcorn the next week to 10 days will be stale... I'm gonna pop some fresh to watch this crap show.

How are people who are so successful so dumb at times? Politics included.

So now the NIL gets to be the scapegoat, instead of the coach where the blame should’ve been placed had the BOT taken care of the NIL from the beginning. Instead the powers that be set us back several years.

Pittman was going to struggle enough from lack of experience, but it sounds like he was fighting with his hands tied from the beginning.

I was at the game and it was an awful experience.

The only highlight was the brawl.

Pittman has taken Arkansas out of the basement to only return to the same place he found it.

The brawl and the quit should have been enough for a termination.

But we have losers on the hill that are happy with what we saw in this game.

They want more of that and they will get it next season.

You are right, no fricking way we should have any NIL issues in football. Sadly, we have a shite situation where we have forgotten what it is like to have the desire to win with our football program. And not give any fricks about it along the way. Then the result is we are just above Vandy level and seem to be ok with just that. You either want have a winning mentality or you get left behind. We have been left behind.

They went on the cheap to begin with in hiring him, and they handcuffed him to a NIL situation that is atrocious. But, NIL doesn't explain his ineptitude in coaching so many times this season, or using players while others with more innate talent sit the bench, or saying "I Don't Know" when asked tougher questions from the media. Or... I can go on, and on like the fricking energizer bunny here.

He is so above his head in all of this overall.... And the PTB deserve this crap show. THe fans do not overall.

But the Popcorn special will may Jiffy, and Orval jealous... that's for sure!

The BOT not having the NIL stuff straight to begin with, seems to have bought Pittman more time to learn on the job.

Having the NIL stuff straight from the beginning likely would’ve equated to a handful more wins as well and Pittman’s faults would’ve been easier to swallow by fans.

agreed, but at this point...Rip the band aid off and let it out man.

Both are terrible. 2 more wins wouldn't make enough difference.

The worst part, for me, is that I don't think the players gave up. If they had just given up and completely dogged the game like they did against Auburn I could say "well the team just quit."

No, the worst part is that they actually tried to be competitive and play hard... they just had no idea how to do it. We were awful in all phases of the game (though I'll cut the defense some slack, they were out there forever and often in horrible field position) and making the same mistakes we made in the first game of the season. Hell, we added some new ones.

We are a poorly coached and undisciplined team and Pittman clearly has no idea on how to change that. It wasn't a question of talent, we are fairly close talent wise to Mizzou. We simply don't know how to play a good football game this year.

I'm reminded of the old football joke. "What do you think of your team's execution?" "I'm all in favor of it."

NIL won't fix this, better players would be nice but aren't the solution. We have to overhaul the coaching staff... and that includes the top guy. They just aren't getting the job done.
