You still have the BOT and they will just put out another Yuracheck.

Both the BOT and the Chancellor support Yuracheck.

That is a problem.

Why do they support him? What is their support based on?

They know little, care little about athletics.

On paper all the programs are successful.

The football program is profitable and pays for all the secondary sports which are "good" outside of women's basketball.

Since the bottom line hasn't fell off in football causing shortfalls for the other sports budgets, people much be content with the results in football.

Last year was a train wreck with BP.

KJ would still be our QB with BP.

Did he really say this?

Not exactly. He was his 1st and last call. Called about 30 other coaches and had "conversations"

They see it as 100 percent as a business but lack the passion.

Yeah I hated having a top 20 offense too. This year is way better.

KJ went 11/17 for 126 yards and a TD in about 2 quarters against Missouri under BP last year. He outplayed Green.

16/29 for 206 and a TD against Texas, once again having a better game than Green. He never threw an INT until this year.

It's coaching. Chad Silverfield and Craddock Cramsey are arse.

Resulting in 2 wins.

We need a young, cocky offensive guru. Hunter blew it again.

I'm done pointing out the obvious to people like you. Stay ignorant.

Nothing more obvious than a 2-10 record.

I'm not sure why you continue to deny it occurred.

It literally didn't

You say that like it was his record as first year HC. Big difference in going 2-10 starting out the season as OC, taking over as interim. Everyone wants to pretend like that's the same as having an honest shot at the job.

FWIW we do have some results to look at from when he was given an actual shot at the job.

I have never once denied the 2-10 season happened.

What gets denied is that the reason for those losses had very little to do with Petrino's side of the ball despite the obvious indicators of that being the case.

39 ppg given up defensively in games that weren't against Alabama A&M or Arkansas State, but yeah, blame the offense. This board is full of football geniuses.

I think if we had last years offense with this years defense we would make a bowl game.

Maybe. I'm not convinced this year's defense is that much better to be honest with you. Maybe we'll improve from 130th to 115th, but that's still awful. Keep in mind Silverfield said they'd spent the run up to the season preparing for Utah and still gave up 43.

The difference this year is now we'll just be getting blown out every week instead of losing one score games.

Kudos to you for continuing the fight

A lot of the defensive performance can be laid at the feet of the offense imo. At least we fly around and gang tackle this year. It was 7-3 at the end of the 1st quarter but once the dam broke it was over. I’d say we have a top 60 defense. Not great but one good enough with last years offense to get a few stops a game.

I genuinely don't want to, but it's like a reflex. I can't fathom how people can be so tunnel visioned.

It's not like the defense was just sub-par. It was bad on a historical scale.
