Sucks knowing we have to wait 3 years for another shot at a decent coach. Then a year or two to get shite together. Another half decade of suckage with no hope in site.

I don’t disagree. But playing at Utah and then UGA as games 2-3 of a new system/ overhaul is a lot different than FIU and Western IL. He’ll Utah would be my pick to win the Big12, and UGA the SEC based on what I’ve seen so far.
I’m hopeful, not optimistic, that we can get some momentum because Tulsa, USC, Auburn, Vandy, Mizzou, and uT are games we should be able to compete in later in the season and pull off a few wins. No excuse to end up with less than 4 wins IMO. I’m still not convinced we are so void of talent we can’t compete with the teams above.

I would agree.... If they hold the rope and keep working... if they check out we are staring at a 1-11 beauty I fear.

I remember having almost this EXACT same thought as I was walking out of WMS after ULM in 2012.
And now here we are in 2026…
