BP wanted the job…

and was the best coach available who wanted it. HY, many of the powers that be, and several here just couldn’t get past the optics.
Nobody in college football gives a shite about appearances. Look at LSU. Look at Sark at Texas. Coaches are human, and some are soup sandwich fricked up. No doubt, BP is on the decline. But he already had his disaster, and even on the decline is better than what we are seeing.
Obv, we have to give Silver 2 years, but the process of replacing him has to start with getting Yurachek out of here. That needs to start now.

So did Eric Morris, Stein, and others.
Hunter gave you Silverfield and LED lightbulbs.

I think we’re going to find out after we fire cashachek that actually there’s more than just 1 guy out there who’d be willing to coach in the sec for 5 million dollars a year with a 25 million NIL budget.

Not many.
It will continue to be unknowns.

But Hunter didn't want him. Hunter had his mind made up after the Memphis game according to him.
He didn't even call anyone else.
Holy shite that guy sucks.

Arkansas needs a clean sweep.
Head coach
BOT
Chancellor
Incorporate more former players into administrative positions.

Petrino had a great shot at landing the full time job and shat the bed in rather spectacular fashion.
Unless Silverfield keels over from a heart attack we aren't looking for a new head coach for another 3 years.
You know, had World War II not broken out, we would have had Bear Bryant as our HC! But it did, and we didn't get him. We are stuck with the silverfish for now, and no one worth a damn is interested in the job unless we raid an FCS team. Which I'd give serious consideration to at this point.

Not really. He was handed a dumpster fire mid-season, with many of the players and several here thinking that Petrino backstabbed coach Cole Beer to get the job.

I hope you are wrong, but probably not. I didn't expect us to be competitive year one. I think that's too much to ask in the SEC West. I do expect competence, and I'm not seeing it. So the next best thing to getting rid on an incompetent coach is getting rid of an incompetent AD, which is something that can be done this year.

Fire Yuracheck first.
If Silverfield does a program worst 1-11 season then can him as well.

Silverfield won't survive a 1-11 season.
The Tulsa game will be his most important game in his career here so far.
Arkansas actually gave the Bear company stock back in 1952 to lure him to Arkansas.
He declined but regretted that decision later in his life.

Let's just repeat retarded history and fire both at once.
Part of the reason we're at this point

You still have the BOT and they will just put out another Yuracheck.
Both the BOT and the Chancellor support Yuracheck.
That is a problem.

Quit buying tickets.

That won't be enough.
You need a clean sweep.
Head coach.
AD.
BOT.
Chancellor.

Stein was as well.
It seems like he's trying the Cignetti approach of coming in and acting all badass for a program with no real history but it doesn't really come off the same and I think it's going to backfire.
