Muss insider on 247 is saying we’ve got a real shot at keeping Justin Smith for another year. The build up to basketball season would be insane around the state.

Rasir Bolton is apparently today’s transfer name to watch.

Looks like a solid guard, but the battle for playing time is going to be a bloodbath if no one else leaves.

well when they stop working it'll be a problem but if sure as hell rather have good to great guards vs a decent to good big man

Anyone else hear we’re top 2 for the Sylvan Hills kid? Us and UK? That true?

Nick Smith?

Not sure about that but this was from two days ago
quote:

On the recruiting front, Smith had cut his list down to ten schools but has since opened it back up and new schools are getting involved.

"It's been going pretty good," he said of his recruitment. "I opened up my recruitment again but I have been talking to a lot of colleges since then. It's been pretty cool."

Yea, Smith. Probably just rumors from Rivals sauces but good he's taking a look at others as most thought he was pretty locked into UK.

2 more Vandy kids leaving for Texas and ORU. Man, Stack let that team blow up, looks like a nightmare from here in Nashville.

Its a confusing situation because he also got some solid transfers coming in and two good recruits earlier this month.

Any more gossip on Justin Smith returning, and how long does he have to decide?

Would be huge if he came back.

Unless this is photoshopped

And in terms of deadlines
quote:

NBA Early Entry Application and Withdrawal Deadlines: The deadline for an early entry player to apply for this year's NBA Draft is Sunday, May 30 at 11:59 p.m. ET. The deadline for an early entry player to withdraw from the NBA Draft is Monday, July 19 at 5 p.m. ET.

Most of the members in the media are denying any chance of it for what its worth (sometimes that is nothing).

Hard for me to see it happening though

It's not recruiting but Gafford appears to be finding himself a bit as a NBA player alongside Russ and Beal on the Wizards.

11-2 record since his trade.

I don't blame him for exploring his options. It looks like 6th man is his best case scenario with what we've got. Would suck to lose him though. If Baylor taught us anything from last year it's that you need to have that depth to really challenge for a title.

He was second ranked only to Moody, I’m pretty sure healthy he can get his minutes back.

Maybe there ends up being something to this but I have noticed a trend in more random rumors being fabricated over time with no real news. People getting bored and inpatient.

I’ve seen where people have insinuated that KK isn’t happy about us brining in other guards via the transfer portal. Muss is trying to win now, and win big now it seems so he’s going to play who’s performing the best and earned it not who’s been here the longest and feel like they’re owed it.
