Hope you're right. Akol seemed to have some good traits and a nice fit. Kind of late in the game to find far better quality but I may be way off base.
His upside was really high but he has been regressing to a certain degree the last year.
It might take awhile but through out the summer the portal will add more talent, there are also a few players in the portal that are waiting on news regarding the draft. Even if we hit on some of the better names we have been linked to recently, I still think its a wash at worst.

Doesn't seem optimistic. At least Ford is a lock.
Yeah, I don't like the odds of landing Smith but good to hear that regarding Ford. Many were worried after the national championship.

3 spots open. Muss is scouting the portal like crazy

Auburn and Georgetown?
Going to be really shitty to lose another to Pearl and Hoyas is just a WTF thing. Guess it’s Ewing but not like Smith was even alive for his hay day.

As long as Pearl keeps Wes, they are always going to be annoying to deal with

Should we be surprised Vanover hasn't made a move? Can't decipher if Muss thinks he's valuable or that no one else thinks he is.

I have wondered this as well.
A friend of mine who is really, really into bb said..."Muss plays chess on the court, Vanover is a huge piece of the game with matchup problems against some other teams. Will be a win or two each season that we otherwise may not get.
HeckifIknow!

No, Vanover isn't going anywhere.

Curtis seems to think that DeGray might be our next pick up
Sounds like it’s mizzou, Xavier or us.

Not upset about that one.
He wasn't a home run but like the type of big he was for our system and he was only a freshman.

The main trait I have noticed among guys we show interest in is that they all have high fg%. Even the guys that don't score many points have been high.
I wish I had also been paying attention to turnover ratio on all these guys. It makes me wonder if efficiency is the first thing Muss looks at.
Hypothetically, if every guy shot their current fg% next year we are going to be almost impossible to stop.

I wouldn't really say that 39.2% is high to be fair

I believe his staff has some type of formula for all stats that help for them to determine what kind of player they can expect in SEC play
