Fords an Arkansas kid who’s whole family is all hog. My dad went to high school in magnolia with his dad and graduated with him he went to watch a game back when he was in 9th grade when he first started making noise and hadn’t even got an offer yet and at that time his dad said if Arkansas offered that was where he was going

Take that for what you will

Rta: this was before musselman was even hired

Hope you're right.

Drew anyways seemed like a really dirty coach, don't know why. What's crazier is that they've done all this cbd are just now seeing some results from it.

Probably because they grew up watching a basketball program that has sucked for over 20 years. Then you have the allure of money and any kind of assistance that will get recruits or family members to go to so called school. Baylor has been playing this game for years.

Yeah the Baylor rumors when I heard them were older, I had heard we're in good shape with Ford for awhile now. Can only imagine what the Elite 8 run did to help things.

Another Goforth insider on 247. Sounds very promising for us.

Best of luck to him, wasn't able to really be consistent enough this year to earn more mins but it felt like he gave us all he had especially at the end.

Sounds like the Hogs will be getting Au'Diese Toney from Pitt and Marvin Johnson from EIU so far. I assume 2 to 3 more of our guys leaving.

That goes back to the old SWC days in the 80s except they sucked at it. Arkansas and Rice were only two conference members that weren't on probation.

That is why Gonzaga needs to win it all. They aren't a rival in recruiting but Baylor is.

Saw some fans on social media down on Marvin Johnson as a potential transfer so I looked at his stats and watched a couple videos. Gotta say, I think he fits what Muss wants. Compares to Tate and Witt as a scoring PG with a mid-range game but looks way, way more athletic than those 2. He’s got some turnover issues but hopefully that’s a result of him forcing it playing somewhere without much help around him. He’s also stacked some super high assist games.

I think its also important that one of the transfers in more of a true pg. The only true pg on the roster right now is KK imo and we obviously don't know what we will get from him yet. Devo could certainly develop into that with time but still think he is more of a off guard.

Muss hates losing so much that I really feel like he’s going to address every need as best as possible. Really need some guys who can finish at the rim. That plagued us in the games we couldn’t shoot.

We've also got to get a consistent shooter or two. It blew my mind that Baylor had 4 guys shooting over 40% from 3 (and another at 39.6%) when our best shooter came in at 36%.

Yep

I think we need a shooter, a pg and another solid big.

Something like Marvin Johnson, Tre Mitchell and Noah Locke would be the dream imo

He was angry a bout that game and our dumbass media asked a question a bout how well this season went and what he thought a bout it. He replied that this loss still stings. So he really didn't care a bout the season but thought we had a good chance in this game. What he saw is different from the average viewer.

As soon as they were finished, he jumped out of his chair quickly and didn't look or say a word to anyone.

Pinson from Missouri still being mentioned as a possible transfer addition. I’d love him as an off the bench guard if he’d take that role.

Decent 3pt shooter and good FT shooter. He'd be a solid option and is likely an upgrade over Sills.

Hate to see Desi go but he just couldn't knock down open looks down the stretch when it counted. SC game was the last game I remember him doing much from outside. Just can't afford that for someone his size that isn't a pure PG.

We don’t need to add a shooter or two. That is the Mike Anderson mentality. What we need to do is add really good players that are better shooters than the ones we currently have.
