It has to be Milroe. Honestly don't know if any of the WRs are good enough that having a good passer would be all that helpful anyway

True.. But is he going to give the decent opponents two ...three extra possessions?

Someone will separate themselves by the thick of fall camp. Until then we just got to wait and see who wants it the most.

Yeah, this all sounds good. However, college football, today, demands that you can throw the ball around and score quickly. In a perfect world, we could go back to run, run, pass. We will be able to do that for some games but there will be times where the QB will HAVE to take over games with his arm. In my opinion, Milroe is the guy. He will only get better throughout the summer. He is a leader. I’m excited about this coming season.

Exactly…

If Saban runs Milroe out as the game 1 starter, his career is pretty much over as his championship days are gone.

You obviously have not watched Georgia for the last two years. They're playing the same game that we played when we were kicking arse and taking names.

Absolutely. 2011-2012 Bama is what modern day Uga is right now.

IMHO, drastically improved oline will do wonders for the entire offense. Hopefully we see huge improvement this season.

I don't think I could ever compare these Georgia teams to one of the greatest defenses to ever see the field in 2011 or one of the best OLines/running games in 2012. They're very balanced, but I'm not sure where that particular comparison came from.

They play with confidence, discipline, toughness and with a mean streak. They have that attitude that they’re not going to lose like Bama had in 11-12.

2011 Bama defense was the best defense that’s ever stepped on the field imo. Beat the hell outta LSu which was a damn good team.

I don't think it's a statistical or talent comparison, but what I think when people say this, is that it's a philosophical comparison. Play aggressive defense, rely less on splash plays, dominate control of the game with the run game, don't overly lean on the QB and protect them so they can deliver critical throws when necessary.

That's not been Bama's M.O. for the past few season. We've been leaning on elite Quarterback play, dynamic offense and bend but don't break... well, with Golding, bend but still break defense.

When folks say that Georgia today is Bama from '11 and '12 it's team mindset and approach more than a specific 1:1 look at both teams.

We won't look like we have the last couple of years and in many ways that might be a good thing.

It all starts on the OL and there's a chance we might be very very good. Physical and huge. And we will have a stable of backs to run behind them. Not to mention the pressure a QB like Milroe can put on a defense. Mobile QB's have driven us crazy over the years well now we have one.

Opponents are going to have to bring a safety down to help stop the run and that should help the passing game.

Oh, so now you want to be all back on the Milroe train? Or are you going to try that stunt you pulled on the big board where you claimed they you were "Just sayin' you were cold on Milroe, but were really 100% behind him the whole time"? If the former is the case then you just ride the wave of opinion. If the later is the case, at best you're a deceptive liar, at worst you, ride the wave of opinion, AND are a deceptive liar.

I have taken an optimistic, "No, he's not a troll" view of you up to this point. But, now I know why many on this board think you are nothing but a worthless troll

Just how much those two idiots coordinators wasted the last two seasons.

Gets my vote for post of the year right here...

Milroe starts and I hope he shuts up the haters. From what I've heard, he's a super good guy and I wish him great success.

Because, if Milroe is Bama’s best option at QB, we’re in for a couple of shitty seasons.
