Some teams get forced to hire diversity coaches. Example would be the patriots recently. Others are told to draft one “for the team.”
It’s a legal way to pay players so if you want to compete better get those checks rolling.
Revenue sharing starts this season. It’s going to be around 22 million bucks that they got to come up with on a yearly basis. Things will become more expensive until demand won’t support it.
Let’s say the staff goes with Russell in hopes to make sure he sticks around. Kid has a good year with some flashes and we go 8-4. After the season an Oil Barron comes by with 5 million bucks and he’s gone. Of course Mac and Ty transferred already as well. CFB ain’t what it used to be.
That site can pound sand
If you aren’t 24-7 pumping sunshine and praising the libs you will be ejected from that echo chamber. Earl just wants yes men and the mentally handicapped over there on his plantation.
Kids jumping team to team multiple times a year in the portal defeats the old pastime of keeping up with recruiting. At least in the NFL you know a guy in under contract for several years but in college nothing is guaranteed. I formerly followed recruiting very closely but now seems like a waste.

Honestly fall camp is when it’s time to get interested now and where the season is over just tune out until next August. Teams will massively shift from year to year which is a shame because one of the things that made college great was watching a guy come in and eventually doing something great (Mac Jones for ex).
Next year there’s going to be a new QB one way or another. That’s a good thing given our former one gave us no chance. However from a historical perspective you can expect several losses in a year with a new QB. If the freshman is close in competition he probably gets the nod.
CFB is going pro ball forumula. Pro sports have been expanding playoffs to keep rantings up and make more money. Most pro sports the top -40% of teams make the playoffs. This keeps more fans engaged and spending for a longer duration. In the pros when you get a new franchise team or a team moves there’s a good chance they will make a deep playoff run shortly after the event. Good for business
Guy is a just a troll that likes to play defend milroe to get a rise out of people around here.

College ball is dead. The new strategy will be like in the NFL. Save up for 10 years then break the bank with NIL in back to back years to try to win the natty. I guess maybe some rich schools alike the Yankees will have a good team yearly but doubt there will be many of them

The average fan won’t even realize how bad NIL is for another year or two. When they start watching next fall they are going to wonder where half their team went in the offseason and then when they play against them in the season they will be like “hey he’s our guy right ?”
Bama best hope is the money angle. Money talks

re: Milroe - a softer perspective.

Milroe ain’t bad if you want to come close and fall short every year. He’s basically the Mark Richt of QBs.

This team doesn’t deserve to go to the playoffs. They need some humble pie and citrus.

Kalen is a post prime Dabo. Maybe the next coach will be able to rebuild out of the ashes in a few years.
