I find it frustrating that Bama continues to struggle with the run and their ability to run.

A WR and an OL shouldn't be the best weapons in the backfield. Somewhat hyberbolic, but not really.

This.

Linebacker play. They generally do just fine, but quite a few of the long runs teams have broken against Alabama came as a result of a linebacker being out of position or more directly, filling a hole that somebody else was already filling and leaving a wide open gap.

I’d also like to see us more aggressive to start the second half. Lately it seems like our first series is run, run, incomplete pass, punt. If we’re gonna go three and out, I’d rather see us do it throwing the ball down field

I would like to see:

1. Sanders moved into the LG role
2. Carroll take over at RT
3. Figure out a way to get Dear involved with HIll.. less Jam
4. Figure out how to get 3-5 snaps a game from Mboumou
5. Get QB Reese a few snaps a game at MLB
6. Get Lewis back at TE because he's the only one who can block
7. More shots down the field.. I love the ball control but some nice easy scores would be nice here and there to pressure the defense

So you'd like to see all of the backups.

There has to be a better way to run the ball between the tackles.

He hasnt played since ULM. But he did record 3 tackles in that game. Doesnt seem like he is gonna produce anything much this year. But maybe the light comes on.

I would say this team needs about a 3 day break from football and come back energized and focused more than anything.

I’m not sure the run game can drastically improve in two wks. Just keep trying and by the 4th quarter put Hill to work against tired legs.

Defensively it’s to the point you know they’re going to give up a few big plays but they don’t give up a lot of points and right now i can live with that.

This maybe the toughest task to ask but somehow someway get RW focused for 60mins. When he’s focused he’s a pain in the arse to deal with.

Well at least we threw down field. Just the threat can keep defenses more honest.

The run game. Whether it’s an OL issue or play calling issue or both. Fix it! Without a productive run game, I have serious doubts this team can make a championship run.

I will say, Noah Carter had some serious burst off the edge on the plays he got in vs. SC. Bright future for him.

Rushing offense and rushing defense. Not holding my breath on either.

For all Proctor's faults in 2025 he's seem to be reliable for no worse than a stalemate with my armchair, live-game eyes.

He let the defender straight up cross his face to the B gap. It was UGLY

We're absorbing the defensive rush and not applying any force back. The Film Guy pointed this out in his review of the USCe game and Michael Carroll. Carroll let the defensive guy continue to move upfield while the DE still had his chest square to Carroll. The Film Guy said OL'men are taught that when that happens to give a "jab" or "stab" into the guys chest to re-route him rather than allowing him to blow by you with no resistance. That seems to be par for the course for the entire line. We're not administering the contact, we're absorbing it and are always in a defensive position when blocking. That's not a good position to be in.

This is it, in a nutshell.

I think overall our defense is doing enough week-in and week-out to get the victory.

It's really our offense that, in spite of Heisman-level QB play, has yet to play a full, quality game.
A lot of it has to do with our absolutely abysmal run game. We've gotta figure something out there, because it's gotten horrendously bad.

I'd like to see them complete some deep balls. Seems like they we haven't had many long passes downfield, which is crazy because we have some serious speed at wideout.
