Almost everyone has agreed Tua didn't play his best game.

op is correct, the sky is falling! we may as well just bench tua an go with mac. the quarterback formerly known as tua, is no more.

yes, he has thrown behind wr's some. yes, hes made some miss reads. oh my word, he's actually human! a human, that for whatever reason doesn't seem to be havin very much fun right now. i say that in reference to the view of his reaction to the ruggs long td pass. imho, tua'a whole demeanor has changed. it's like, something is weighing heavy on his mind.

however, bama won and covered the spread. so no, the sky is not falling. not yet.

This is the part of fandom I hate....the point is to win the game.

We are seriously picking apart and over analyzing a performance in which our QB threw for 4 TD's and close to 300 yds vs a ranked conference team on the road.

Who said the sky is falling? You guys are sensitive as frick.

God forbid someone point out flaws and say "this doesn't need to be come a habit, we need better play and focus in the bigger matches".

The bitch comes right out of some of y'all.

Anyways, I'm done. This place is obviously not for in-depth discussion or analysis of the game. It's for fan perspective which I can respect.

My apologies for disrupting your utopia.

Its a message board.. if you hate fans discussing parts or points of the game.. you might wanna find something else to read. Its kinda the point of a message board.. just being honest with you. Im getting tired of the fans saying we don't need to discuss or look ahead.. ect. We are fans on a board.. its what the board is for.

(Though I think Tua played fine.. seemed just him and Jeudy were off.) He was pretty surgical with the others.

Yet the response initially is always the same.... then when it's glaring people stop insulting me and start actually discussing the issue.

The sad part about this is, I never insulted anyone. I'm huge on Tua. All I did was point out mistakes and say we need him to clean it up and focus more in the bigger games and look how I have been attacked?

But you're totally not a self righteous, condescending douchebag. Again, shite like this is why people don't like you or respect your opinions. You are ALWAYS negative and say nonsense like the above whenever anyone has the audacity to disagree with you.

I did not think Tua was sharp and my brother said the same thing. Maybe he was pressing a little at times but he missed a couple of throws the last 2 games he normally makes.

They pay Saban the big bucks to see and deal with these things, and I have confidence that he will.

This time next year, people will be begging for Tua to come back to Alabama. He's a transcendent player in our program. Is he perfect ? No. But I certainly feel confident with him under center. People need to enjoy a generational talent while he's here. I know I am.

A&M’s red zone defense was especially good. Every time we got into the red zone I was on edge. I prefer those 30-yard or 50-yard TD receptions to being in the red zone.

His deep ball seems, to me, to be off. Receivers having to slow up or like v the dive attempt by Devonta in the back of the endzone....just out of reach.
Yesterday for a "bad " day was pretty darn good. But yes...could have been better. That throw to Jeudyb that was behind is normally money. My question...how much does a bye week affect timing? Also yesterday was the a slow game offensively ..howb does that affect rythm?

Breaking News: Sometimes great players have off days...

Luckily for us Tua's off days are better than a lot of quaterbacks best days

none of these teams defenses are that much better than a&Ms. It is hyperbole to say much better. LSU in particular is legitimately bad on defense

BTW, in the play where he and Jeudy got into it Tua was at fault. Jeudy intelligently read the defense running zone and curled into a soft spot in that zone.

I agree Tua was off yesterday but had Jeudy kept going to where Tua threw the ball, it would have probably been a touchdown. Also, Jeudy gave no effort to catch that long pass play that barely went over his head.

How many times did AJ throw for 300 and 4tds and get this kind of criticism?

And Tua admitted that on the sideline right after that happened. The sideline reporter said so.

Personally I thought Tua missed many more wide open guys against Ole Miss and maybe even Southern Miss.

His deep ball is definitely a bit off right now but I think it's because he was basically a deep ball only passer for much of his career at Bama and his weakness was not checking down. This year he has been checking down a lot and hitting the RBs which is what he has to do. Take what the defense gives you.

So he's throwing less deep balls and therefore his rythym is a bit off. He'll get it fixed though, he's too talented not to.

Please just shut up. You act like what you say has some kind of effect on the team. It has none. Nothing wrong, if you want to feel smart, to point out a bit of a drop off. But you keep harping on the same thing and acting like he has entered a slump. Again what you or anyone on this board says will have no effect on the team other than to support or not support it. That what CNS asks for - a positive attitude.

IMO, female fans are far and away the best because they offer little criticism and always support the players and coaches. Some of the guys think they know as much as the coaches and that what they post on a msg board matters.

#13 left a lot of yards on the field on Saturday and he above everyone understands just that. I believe on that pick play that when they left the huddle he was going to throw the ball to #4 come hell or high water and he did. JMO but #4 might be getting a little tude because #6 and #11
are getting the TD's and the media. Like it or not but this is about dollars for some of these guys. It happens.

It was good to have a TE for one year anyway but as of today #87 and #88 are really below average whether it is blocking or receiving.
