The UA President at the time, Roger Sayers, went on TV and called out Brando and basically saying that Brando was full of shite.
A week later, Bama played A&M at College Station, a game that was postponed from earlier in the year due to a hurricane that was predicted to hit nearby (it missed completely). ESPN made a big deal of the game, since there wasn't much else on that night. Brando was calling the game. At one point they cut to a Tuscaloosa bar to show students watching the game.
Right as they cut to the bar, some guy in the bar starts a "Tim Brando Sucks" chant.

I honestly don't know why any coach would be interested in PSU right now. I feel like James Franklin has a good-to-great reputation as a coach, built a great roster, and ran into some adversity/bad luck this year for the first time in a while and they fired him mid-season.
Who would want to walk into that situation?

For real. If any of you followed our Gymnastics program, a while back in the Sarah Patterson days, he was one of the main CBS commentators for the championships and he would so obviously simp for Georgia and it got predicatbly unbearable when they went on their late 2000s dynasty run.
The 2011 broadcast is at least watchable since UGA (and Florida) both failed to make the championship meet.
