I also think it's funny how it went from civility after beating them in that shitty JQ/Love 4OT 3 point contest, to them straight up hating our asses.
It's all fun and games until you start stealing legacy recruits and winning head to head postseason games and signing portal players both teams desperately need.

Unc is a program that's quite dirty but put up an air of superiority. Hypocrisy at its finest.

So yeah, Oats is making blue bloods hate us like that. We've never had a coach dominate a legit elite basketball program because we're kicking their asses on and off the court. Nobody else has accomplished that.
So I think realistically that’s not reflective of most of their fanbase.
But it is reflective of the fact that UNC, possibly more so than any other blue blood has been interacting with what Oats is doing enough to be sounding the warning alarms that there is a seismic change happening in Tuscaloosa.
I suspect UK would be freaking out more if they didn’t have their own internal turmoil to deal with.
The data suggests that based on the past five years and when benchmarked against the resources, average baseline for the programs they coach for and recruiting resources available to them, the two best coaches in America are Dan Hurley and Nate Oats.
That makes a growing group of people in places like Durham, Chapel Hill, Lawrence and Lexington uncomfortable.

Bill Walton died. Damn.
Dude just didn’t wanna live in a world without the Pac12.
RIP

If he was 10-15 years older it would be poetic that he never has to experience the utter travesty of his beloved UCLA playing in the B1G, but he was only Saban's age. I will miss the late night, occasionally basketball themed journeys of self discovery.

I’ll miss him in Maui during the midnight game rambling about the most random inconsequential shite.

. The 2nd most laughable part is you can cryptically read into the fact that the UK fan is offended that Bama is on the list and they are not.
Damn bro, we have arrived.

Bill Walton was one of a kind. His career was cut short and now his life.
Was one heck of a Basketball player too. RIP.

I saw him make 22 of 23 shots for UCLA in the semifinal NCAA championship against what was once Memphis State. Dominant player in college and excellent ride in the NBA. One of a kind announcer : > ) and I bet an awesome father and friend. God Bless the Walton family

The most obvious thought is that it means both Sears and Stevenson returning. Man do I hope I am correct.

Disagree, I think the obvious thought is that he is running a criminal narcotics conspiracy in West Baltimore and they are going to stand against Marlo, Prop Joe or anyone else who wants to challenge them.
I believe what you are saying is a close second.

Just my opinion but I think Jarin is more likely to stay in than Sears.
Which We have plenty of depth a Jarins position so him staying in wouldn’t be devastating.

I agree. I just don't see a team taking a flyer on Sears.
Jarin on the other hand has the measurables and is one of the youngest players in the draft. A team could easily use a 1st round pick on him. I think if he comes back he will be a lottery pick but would not be surprised for someone to make a guarantee with their late 1st round pick. We also need to remember that was his stated goal when he committed. He wanted to be this year's Clowney.

If either Sears or Jarin actually leaves there's a lot of confidence in Will Riley reclassifying and joining for this upcoming season.
I would still be a little worried about the backup 4 if it's Jarin, it'd be Mo and I guess Reid. I have a bit more confidence in Aden and Philon replacing Sears' minutes.

We’d be hearing more buzz if he was rocketing up into first round discussions

We would have Grant Nelson, Aiden Sherrill, Derrion Reid, and Mo D at the 4

Depth is one thing but i think Jarin is poised to make a HUGE leap this year. We need him back.
