Seemed like the longest 4:23 of my life…

Who do you guys think wins tonight between Arky @Mizzou?

Mizzou favored by 1.5

I think Mizzou wins.

Mizzou has kind of hit a wall lately and Arkansas is in what seems like a do or die situation. I'd probably lean Arkansas but if they don't win it really could be a damn busting situation for their season.

Gut says Arkansas. I think Mizzou's style plays into their hands a bit. Their transition offense is great and they struggle if you get back and set on defense, but Mizzou plays fast and they're basically 5 traffic cones defensively so I don't see them forcing Arky to settle for a bunch of jumpers.

If it was @ Arky, I would go with Arky considering the refs. @ Mizzou, I would take Miz.

We had that 2 game rough stretch against Memphis and Gonzaga right after Nimari got hurt but since then our defense has just been so elite. And that’s with us building up huge leads and letting up at the end of games

Arkansas sure hasn't been playing well early in the season, but this is their MO.
You figure they'll turn it on at any moment

I'm not so sure they're going to get it turned around this year without Smith. Council is their only real bucket getter and overall they are atrocious from the FT line and 3.

I know we get pissed at our fan support sometimes but there is NOBODY at this LSU game. And they are playing a ranked team at home

Ehh…it filled in some. Still a lot of emptys

This team knows they are good. The fans know that this is an outstanding basketball team. Best team I've seen since Wimp was coaching. We may be the best team in America. I been around through a shite ton of average basketball, I am really enjoying this run.

LSU fans are frontrunning douchebags but you'd have to pay me to watch that garbage. They fricking suck.

Especially when the opponent is Auburn and KD Johnson is putting on a clinic in dumb, selfish basketball.

I guarantee you that every home game will be either a sellout or very very close to it.

Yep. Auburn is playing like shite and it doesn't feel like they are remotely vulnerable.

Several in here have mentioned that they don't understand how UT is above us in certain rankings.

Old friend Colton Houston chimed in on the topic. It's not much, but this is what he said about it.

quote:

Same reason they rank higher in KenPom. Higher adjusted efficiency margin. Basically margin of victory.

I’m obligated to point out that
1. The difference between the two is so small as to be meaningless
2. A team’s NET has no bearing whatsoever on anything of significance.

Important to always remember that Kenpom and NET are at this point largely predictive models, not a ranking of current strength of record.

We've been inching up on them all the time but these metrics love UT this year so far because their defensive efficiency has been off the chart, a very wide margin between them and the field. Weighs heavily in the adjusted efficiency models used to predict future outcomes.

After scoring a combined 33 points in the first half, LSU and Florida can't miss to start the second.

Honestly the SEC as a whole kinda sucks outside of us and UTk.
