Yes. Their gameplan was to help as little as possible and clog kick out lanes to prevent us from raining 3s on them, but it let us wreck them on the offensive glass. It got them a handful of steals and forced us into longer possessions than we'd have liked, but between JQ, Miller, and our bigs we're going to get a bunch of shots at the rim if you defend us that way.
Ok, thanks. At least my observations are right.

Who do we want to win between Baylor and Creighton? To my uneducated eye, creighton scares me a bit more and I think they have a higher ceiling.

I think Creighton is better than Baylor. I haven’t watched them enough to know if one would be a better matchup for us than the other though. Hopefully Princeton beats either of them

Crieghton's A game > Baylor's A game, but Creighton lays an egg as often as they play their best.

Agree Creighton underachieved had so much hype considering their talent but really only played a handful of "good games" against good teams all season.
However, in the tourney atmosphere, I'd rather avoid the talented underachiever and get Baylor since they just don't play great defense and would have to play with more an outscore us mindset.
SD St and Baylor or Creighton are all teams that can beat a good team or they wouldn't be where they are but those teams standing between us and a final four isn't a bad draw.

I blame Pitt's uniforms
. They can always pull out the sweet blue and gold's and in every sport they bring some terrible alternate colors out as much as possible. They need the Bama standard.

Does he has history with JQ?

One of the big takeaways lately for me is teams aren’t hurting us defensively for playing a lot of Sears-Quinnerly.
There were a couple times on a switch, where they'd end up guard someone 6'8". But they managed to hold their own, and not give them an easy bucket on a mismatch. All the guards have gone a very good job keeping guys in front, and forcing them to the baseline, where there's help waiting.
Especially big for Quin, who has really played great D for the last month or two. He's improved so much over the years.

Burnett and Griffen have done a good job on defense. They aren't giving up anything easy. I'd still like to see us put Burnett on a guy to just shut him down like we did in Houston. SDSU gets most of their points from their guards, I believe.

Yep. A 1 beating an 8 seed by 22 isn't headline news. It's not some anti Bama conspiracy. It's just boring for rando fans when there's been so many upsets. Pretty much nobody except Bama fans are gonna click those links.

Yes. Said he offered him a scholarship when he was in 9th grade and has known him for a long time.

I know this is the NCAA tournament, but having watched St. Mary’s and UConn a fair bit this year, I feel like UConn -4.0 is easy money. UConn is basically Gonzaga with a defense, and Gonzaga handled St. Mary’s comfortably the last two meetings.

St. Mary's has some scrappy shooters.

They did a good job but had help because Marylands bigs weren't a 3pt threat.
