I think if Q could help us get off to a good start if helps others mentally to settle down and play well. Other teams believe Bradley, Clowney and of course Chuck cannot shoot from the 3 pt area, so they slack off and that makes it difficult to dribble drive to the goal. Turnovers then happen. We get down early by 8 points and everyone tightens up. I dont know if Q would play well if he starts but we need to do something. He is quicker than the other guards and can get by a defender and dish the ball to the bigs. Plus they cannot just back off of him.

Yep. See the Auburn game last week as a prime example. JQ was at peak performance that night. We need more of that.

Yeah, I'm all for having a spark off the bench, but at this point, I think our best PG should probably be starting. Maybe we wouldn't need a spark off the bench then. If Bradley were playing better, then I think you stick with what we've done. But, if I'm Oats, I'd seriously be considering moving JQ to the starting lineup, unless I had reason to believe Bradley was about to turn it around.

Putting in Q doesn't fix the problems of Jaden Bradley being MIA.

It helps prevent Bama from having to dig out of 15 point deficits.

Start whoever you want, Sears and Bradley should both be losing minutes to JQ and that is a statement a month ago I could’ve never imagined making.

I think I'm at that point too. Plus, sometimes it's worth changing things up for players that aren't in a groove. Maybe Bradley needs that change in rotation too.

Having said that, if Oats were to experiment with the lineup changes, it should have happened in what was an essentially meaningless game against A&M.

True, and I doubt he changes the starting lineup. But, if he doesn't, I think he should be ready to bring JQ in at the first sign of us struggling on offense.

The offense is going to need a spark when we play MSU tomorrow. Their defense is tough. Florida looks like absolute shite on offense without Castleton.

All this talk about Q starting is just funny. Look at any game in the last month+. Q gets subbed in every single game with between 16:00 and 14:00 left in the 1st half. Every game, subbed in within the first 4-6 minutes. And guess what? We still play average to shitty every first half. This is just such a pointless debate.

Man! It is great that our guys were cooling their heels, eating pizza and watching TV last night instead of playing another game, and are getting to get their legs back under them while putting more shots up today as well.

Hopefully they return to early season form.

ESPN just dropped a long form article on the shooting. Really not a ton of new info as far as I can tell other than some new info on the timeline leading up to the event.

Facts don't matter to the pitchfork crew, but them pulling up behind Brandon Miller and Bradley with their lights off is huge. It kills the narrative he "delivered" a gun to the scene and blocked them in. He was already there before they pulled up. They pretty much came to the scene.

If I had to guess, something tells me the b/f is more than likely not innocent in all of this.

season ticket holders, please take the questionnaire emailed out today and hammer the concession prices if nothing else. They are absurd.

Not really replying to you exactly but Florida has now taken the lead against State. What a comeback by the Gators. Hope that they win. Would be a better match up for us.

You could look at in a different way and say how much better we’ve looked in the 2nd half with JQ starting that half and Bradley on the bench.

Spoke too soon. Florida basketball is trash. Unbelievable how bad they are without Castleton. Hopefully Bama takes care of State tomorrow.
