I was disappointed in yesterday’s performance, but let’s keep this in perspective, it was the 99th straight win against an unranked opponent.

Alabama is a machine and cns is the goat. I’m sure the players will put more pressure on themselves than they will ever get from us.

It wasn’t all the new starters or a new coach?

Nope. It was when we thought we had plug and play five stars in JC and Brocker fail to beat out Owens. That was the moment for me that made it clear we have some upside guys that are not ready yet, and the OL was going to be a little less talented.

Oh no he dropped a pass! Bricks!

He's been dropping passes his entire career at Bama. Pay attention or STFU. He's dropped a few critical passes, and dropped a first down ball that hit him in the face on the three yard line yesterday.

quote:

It’s fricking football. This game was going to be a beat down regardless. Should Anderson just not have played at all?

Nope, he's the starter, and should start and play in the game. After the game is in hand however there are a few players on the team that cant be replaced. Anderson could be the difference between winning a title or not this year so I'd classify him as someone that need not be out there that late in a blow out. Seems logical to me.

One player pushing someone equals discipline issues. Great logic

We've already established a lot happens during the games that you dont notice. Im guessing you never played. Anyhow CNS mentioned in his post game that we have discipline issues, and he cant get some of these guys to make good decisions. Do you listen to CNS pressers, or are you all tuckered out from all the natty ice by then ?

quote:

Can we blame Cochran for this? Or do injuries just happen?

Injuries are down, but they will still happen. I notice you non stop white knighting for Cochran - why ? The guys CNS replaced him with are clearly a huge upgrade, and have Bama on the cutting edge of what is possible from team physical development standpoint. STFU about cochran.

I swear overreactions after two games are unbelievable.

This is a sports message board- You're going to find conversation here about what people like and dont like about their team. Maybe you are overreacting to peoples opinions and reactions ?

quote:

This team needs work but my god. They lost so much last year and have new coaches everywhere. It’s not going to be perfect

So we have work to do, and possibly some personnel issues to iron out like have been discussed, or everyone is overreacting ? Which one is it ?

This is almost identical to people last season saying BRob was fumble prone after his Iron Bowl one. In actually, he has one of the better carry to fumble ratios out of all Bama RBs under Saban.

It's the small sample size in combination in which they've happened. I'm not saying BRob is any good as a pass catcher, but the drop yesterday to convert and a sure fire TD drop against Mizzou last year are the only consequential drops I've seen him have.

Jase is the best pass catcher in the backfield IMO, but BRob gets a lot of undue hate for a back who has been productive runner in almost every chance he's gotten. He's not Najee, but no one on the roster is...

When we thought? No, I didn’t think that at all. I figured there would be a drop off with so many new players and coaches, at least in the beginning

He has 20 total receptions his entire career. Sorry I forget if a backup has had a few drops. Tell the class all those drops he’s had his entire career though.

It was the third quarter. People just obviously disagree on this. I don’t have a problem with it because I know it’s football and shite happens.

I’m not the one that alluded that we have discipline or buy in issues because Jameson Williams “punched” someone. lol at the rest of your shite. I forgot playing high school football made you more qualified than everyone else.

Because I like making fun of the tards who blamed Cochran for injuries. Its fricking football. Injuries happen all the time. Did you not play or something?

It can be both. Did you take too many shots to the head in your glorified high school career? If you noticed I referenced other people other than you.

I understand it takes time for a new offense to gel, but my biggest concern is the lack of playmakers.
This is the first time under Saban we don’t have a running back who will be taken in the first two rounds, unless it’s Sanders or Wheaton.

A WR hasn’t emerged. Yeah, Jameson is fast, and can get open, but he hasn’t really established himself as a go-to guy yet.

It’s really a lack of talent at RB and WR

Last year we had a first round RB and two first round WRs.

Maybe Wheaton, Hall, and Brooks will be first round guys, but apparently Saban doesn’t think they’re ready.

Don't discount Jase, I think scouts will like him. But I get the concern. Lot of good players, not many that look great yet. Jojo, Trey, and Hall all look like they could do it but we need them to progress enough to get on the field.

I’ll go with what coach thinks as far as player personnel is concerned.

Think about it, had you bet on Saban his entire career at Alabama you would have millions in the bank. No team is perfect and we have a young team. Once they meet adversity they will grow up, watch. It may be Florida or Ole Miss. They will hit a brick wall, and their future will be decided at that moment.

You need remove the tampon from your vagina. That was one of the dumbest rants that I've ever seen.

Slade Bolden is jamming up the wr and Special Teams all by himself. He is slow, he has questionable hands, and he definitely has ball security issues. Slade will continue to fumble if left out there, and eventually it will cost the team.

Of all the bad takes in here this is the worst one

Congratulations

I was going to mention this. He is incredibly reliable. Sure handed.

Bryce Young is the real deal. John Metchie doesn't scare anybody. Williams and Earle look pretty good. That being said, Earle is no Waddle. As long as the defense stays intact, Bama has enough weapons on offense to go far this season.

That’s me, not sorry.

New coaches, new players, early in the season, we were sloppy yesterday. Hopefully they all buy in to what Saban is preaching, There are some alphas and playmakers on offense.

Feel like OP is comparing this team to the last one...that sent FIVE players to the 1st round of the draft. Plus two other OL with 70 college starts between them. Give the novocain time to kick in folks.

Slade Bolden is sure handed? That’s not how I see him. He lost a couple of fumbles last year, and was dangerously close to losing his TD against Miami.

What exactly is wrong ?

We have better options at punt return ?

We have better options at wide receiver ?

He bobbled some punts last year, fumbled a few balls, and fumbled on the goal line this past saturday leading me to believe he doesn't have the best hands on the team ?

Please tell me which one of these is the worst take. Hell tell me which one isn't true.
