God it’s week 2. You mean a new offensive coordinator and multiple mew starters isn’t perfect? Shocker!

Exactly. I’m not confident this team will make the playoffs at this point.

Break down all these other teams after week 2 that have batter chance

Chris Owens at RT was the moment I knew this OL was going to take a big step back this year.

It wasn’t all the new starters or a new coach?

Brian Robinson CAN NOT CATCH. Really can't have a starting RB in our offense with bricks for hands.

Oh no he dropped a pass! Bricks!

CNS playing 31 late into a beatdown is yet another example he has his flaws. For fricks sake a possible first pick of the NFL draft out there getting cut by mcdoofus state Al Bundy future women's shoes salesman unbelievable- with a dozen 5 star olbs dying for game reps...

It’s fricking football. This game was going to be a beat down regardless. Should Anderson just not have played at all?

quote:

Williams throwing a punch on the field ? Yeah we got team discipline/buy in issues

One player pushing someone equals discipline issues. Great logic

2 games - 2 starting olbs out again... in-fvcken-credible

Can we blame Cochran for this? Or do injuries just happen?

I swear overreactions after two games are unbelievable. This team needs work but my god. They lost so much last year and have new coaches everywhere. It’s not going to be perfect

Yesterday was probably the unhappiest I've ever seen Saban in a post game PC. Forget specific players and issues mentioned by posters in this thread and focus only on the issues Saban addressed Wednesday and again yesterday. If those players Saban was referring to don't step up and become accountable and make better decisions, several teams will have as good a chance or better, including two that we see in the next three weeks.

I’m really talking about the offense. Does it seem to anyone else like this offense is lacking the necessary chemistry?
Something just feels off about this unit, and I think there needs to be some changes in the depth chart. You’ve got a lot of guys with similar ability.

The Oline is a mess. Idk if we have our best 5 out there or not, but they really need to come together.

The combination of Metchie, Williams, and Bolden just isn’t it. We’ve got tons of talent at this position, and I think we need a better starting 3. Between Williams, Metchie, Hall, Bolden, Holden, Brooks, and Earle, who are our best 3?
I think Hall needs to be out there. I think Metchie needs to be out there. I think Williams needs to be out there. Those are our best, and they need to work on their timing.

We need to get Billingsley more involved. Latu is a great TE, but Billingsley is right there with him - probably a faster guy.

The running back rotation is a mess. I don’t have an issue with Brian Robinson, but Trey Sanders is probably our best back right now. Plus whatever happened to Camar Wheaton? Did that guy fall off a cliff? Is he redshirting? We haven’t had a dominant back emerge, and this guy was generating some buzz in camp. Wth happened?

I think we need a better depth chart, and we need to stick with it so this unit can develop better timing and chemistry. That’s my take

Obviously we're throwing a ton of money away on coaches (HC incl.) that could be used elsewhere, when all they'd need to do was punch into the Ala. Sports Board!

Maybe you're the one who should call in to Hey Coach and tell him THAT.

Our offense has yet to find consistency. We haven’t had a star player on offense emerge outside of Bryce.
It seems like every year we have “a guy”.

Dude - Its the second game in and we have dominated without much effort. We replaced Smith, Mac, Najee, Waddle, and a 5* OL. Basically all new guys coming in so its going to take some time to settle. Its a little jerky jerky but we have killers all over the field.

Our fricking fans man....Good Lord you would think we played like Texas.

Yeah they didn’t look good yesterday. They were sloppy after a bad week of practice. I don’t blame saban for being pissed. But like I said, break down those teams that have a better chance. You don’t think Florida or anybody else has issues? shite Florida fans are pissed their backup QB isn’t starting

If that were the first time BRob has dropped a pass that hit him in the hands you'd have a point, but it definitely isn't. He's great in pass protection, but he's never going to give us much of anything as a receiver.

I should call in and tell coach I was being sarcastic on the internet because someone said one play means we have discipline/ buy in issues?

I mean I know I drink a lot during the games but I don’t recall him dropping a bunch. Where has he done it?

I’ve seen multiple posters say this and I just don’t buy it. Sanders looks a step slow and tentative to me (and understandably so).

To be honest with you this is still the best team in America. We have some issues offensively but our Oline is way ahead of anyone else's in the top 5

I distinctly remember at least one dropped walk in TD and a few other drops on swing passes. He ain’t Najee or Jacobs out of the backfield.

Not always about speed but seeing holes setting up blocks , etc. Look at K ROB last night for Texas, he was getting stuffed by Arky line

You mean an offense that lost an all time QB (now starting rookie in NFL), two all time WR, one of the school’s best RB ever, one the school’s best LT ever, and a really good starting center and guard is still trying to find its best self two games in? Shocking.

We have new players all over the place. They’ve played two games. You’re complaining about chemistry, but you want to put new players on there and reset chemistry building. Makes sense.

This team is closer to 2015 than it is to 2018 or 2020. Offense shouldn't need to score every drive because the defense has been much improved. Mercer broke on a couple of late plays late, but that happens against an offense like that in garbage time.

Also, everyone else's offense looks like dog shite right now. Our doesn't- it's just not the Tua or Mac offenses and that's okay. Those two were some of the best quarterbacks in recent memory along with the best receiving corps possibly ever.

Also remember we didn't exactly look great until after the Ole Miss game last year. D was all over the place. A&M had 450 yards against us and won time of possession 38:00 to 22:00 and we still won 52-24.
