Because Whole Foods Bryan Harsin has bought into his own hype.

Unfortunate situation because l'm a huge believer in Julian's talents and think he's going to be a star. show less This, He wanted to stick it out initially and then well, things went south. Shocked to be honest. Sayin is the real deal. I think the new staff will regret this

So all the sunshine pumpers are ok with this?

The same as it was always going to be after Saban retired, the portal opened, and other teams started buying our players. Kiffin, Lanning, or even Sark wouldn't have stopped it. Because it's all about the Benjamin's. We need to reevaluate our NIL now that we don't have the Saban discount anymore.

This is so fricking delusional

Because HE isn't Nick Saban. The sooner you guys realize this the better. He never coached under Saban, like Kirby did. He's had to develop his own system that works for him. Let's see what kind of product he puts on the field. We might be pleasantly surprised.

Cool, so am I. You do realize that a big reason why the time between Bryant and Saban was mostly shite is that we had a ton of people involved in the athletics department who couldn't let the Bryant years go right? If there had been an obvious internal hire then OK, but there wasn't, so this is where we are at. Trying to force DeBoer to run someone else's program isn't the answer. He might end up being a bust and we're right back here in 3 years, but you have to let him succeed or fail on his own merits.

I'm just curious how DeBoer can look at Sayin's film and NOT cream his pants. Sayin should be a perfect fit for his system.

No one expected Saban. We also didn’t expect a complete program tear down.

Saban GOAT yes I agree but explain to me how the last 6 years have been great. We won 1 title in the last 6 years and that was during the Covid year and during that time it could be argued that we had the best roster every year at least according to the recruiting sites.

People need to sit back and actually think about. The program was no longer going in the same direction it had been the previous 11 years.

It has not been working and the same people on here complaining about the current situation have been the same ones complaining lack of development, poor coaching hires, and lack of discipline. We needed change in the program and hopefully we will get it now .

So. In other words....we bring in another qb and he tucks tail and runs from the competition? You don't want this on your team...great players embrace competition!

Google says both 4 and 5. So we will call him a 4.5.

Either way we have won with less talent at QB.

Hear me out here. Maybe because he saw Mack's day to day development at Washington for a year and figured he was a better fit than the week he's been here and not seen Sayin at any practice.

People just blindly claiming Sayin is the next Tua when he could as easily be the next Barnett, Cornwell, or Sims.

Thread …

Nick Saban and Nick Saban’s way are gone and never coming back. Kalen DeBoer is the coach now and he gets to do it his way regardless of what a bunch of hysterical fans on a message board think.

Sayin is also 6'1. Mack is 6'6. DeBoer has also already reached out to 2025 Tennessee QB commit George MacIntyre who is 6'5.5. He seems to like the taller QBs so maybe Sayin is just not a good fit for what DeBoer wants to do.

Everyone complained about Rees and Milroe but neither were a good fit for each other. Do we want the same issue moving forward.

Degree in Finance and Economics. Masters in Accounting and Financial Management. Holding a Series 7 and 66. Passed the first part of the CFA.

With that said, frick off! No one with a half a brain can see what is happening and think it's good. You don't tell a 5* kid to kick rocks because it hurts your recruiting down the road. You have to keep relationships strong and fluid

Do you truly believe that DeBoer told Sayin to leave? Where is the proof of this?
