IMHO, I would say “slim and none and slim just walked out the door!” We all know how fast the NCAA works (sarcasm), so Pruitt to BAMA hinges on them coming down with a decision on the Viles case. Until then, Pruitt is likely too toxic to bring back.

Just need no show cause. I'd love to see him on the Alabama sideline next year. I know he pulled some shite out there, but to be fair, how likely is it that some of Phil's guys had nothing to do with that?

Golding isn't going anywhere unless we get demolished defensively in any of the last remaining games this season, or he leaves on his own.

Nobody is squeaky clean so I'm not worried about what he did at Tennessee. Besides, I think he did a great job there

There is realistically no chance of Golding ever leaving Alabama until Saban retires.

Nobody wants to hire him, and Saban won't fire him.

Saban has alot of respect for Golding..and He is actually a pretty good recruiter as crazy as it sounds. He hits the trail hard and is very likable. His safety blitz drives me crazy..but Saban has personally asked him to stay once..and I don't see him going anywhere unless its a HC job. In other words...he is our idiot..

honestly, i feel like cns is actually doing golding a disservice. not by keeping him at bama, but by forcing him to coach mlb's rather than db's. if cns brought in a legit mlb coach and moved golding to his more comfortable db coach position, the d might be lightyears above where it is.

Not trying to be argumentative, but name one elite recruit he is responsible for ? I'm sorry, but I can't give him that title "elite recruiter"

THIS!!!!! Would not mind seeing him go to DB’s, Roach to mlb’s, and getting a dline coach… Not saying Roach is a bad dline coach, but I think he would be an even better mlb coach but what do I know lol

Pray Billy Napier gets another job. I think ULL would try to hire Golding.

No more projects at ILB coach. Need a proven coach that the player’s know can coach them up into high draft picks.

Don’t think for a second that Kirby isn’t pointing to Golding’s development (or lack there of) of Mack Wilson, Dylan Moses, and now the current two we have in the middle who go absolutely brain dead any time an opposing offense runs any sort of pre-snap motion.

Heh. And Saban recommends Golding as his replacement, which Byrne agrees to, right?

Golding must have some nude photos of Nick and Mrs. Terry at the lake house or something. Just don’t get the love for Pete. Would love to have Pruitt back, but don’t see it happening for a year or two at the earliest.

Not true. Sark tried to hire him as DC at Texas…insiders from both Texas and Bama reported this. Golding got a raise at the end of last season and there was at least one report that it was to match Texas’s offer so he’d stay at Bama. There was also a report from LSU insiders that Coach O showed interest in Golding for DC as well…

Our defense was good last year…other than two games, it was very good…

Yeah, if I recall correctly, Golding has coached DBs at every school he’s coached at till he got to Bama. I think Saban must want his DCs to coach ILBs (I think both Smart and Pruitt coached DBs till they became DC and then they coached ILBs), I’d guess because they call the defensive signals…
