re: The ideal run game in a Grubb/DeBoer Offense = 2023 Washington

We have a decent group of RBs but we don’t have that combo back that can do it all. We don’t have a back that will truly press the hole and slip through a crease. While we don’t have the ‘12 OL making impact craters in the opposing defense, there have been creases to exploit. The RBs either don’t “see” it or they don’t “trust” their ability to get through the crease so they bounce everything wide. We do have missed assignments happening as well, but our RBs aren’t helping all that much if we are being honest. Maybe some combination of Hill and Dear this weekend help.

1 for 2 is trendy? 1 of 2 is “many” as your thread title suggests? You might need a refresher course in English and the definitions of such terms.

Yep! According to Corndog fans, the REC and officials account for those 58 Ws!!
Likely deserves and invite, depending on how many they actually invite this year. You’re probably looking at Sayin - OSU, Mendoza- Indy, Simpson- UA, and Love- Notre Dame.
Rule became what it is now when Kenny Pickett was at Pitt and faked as if he was going to slide, defense let up and he kept running.

You can throw in a few wrinkles, but you can't install an entire offense. They may break a few tendencies and their initial play script show that, but they are who they are offensively. Now, you could see their backup QB come in before garbage time to be a change of pace.

As far as I know, Barn only fired Freeze. So they still have 1/2 play callers with no QB and an awful OL like you said.
Corndogs did fire their OC.

Might want to go back and listen again. Greg mentioned Pavia being a former wrestler and both he and Sean mentioned as they replayed it, how it looked like Pavia grabbed the tackler and pulled him down into the bench.
Maybe I'm just old school, but bringing a color from the pinwheel that isn't in your school colors and then weaving into your uniforms is just a clown show and gimicky.

Take care of business and leave no doubt. While LSU is talented, they are who they are offensively and defensively. They may have a little more fire to them the first half since King Prick BK isn't on the sidelines. They may throw a couple of wrinkles in, but I wouldn't expect too much.
As for the Barn, they are now rotating QBs the last 2 weeks and if you are making changes Week 11 at QB and it's NOT due to an injury, you are screwed! If they get a belt to that arse in Nashville this weekend, that stadium just might be half full when DeBoer comes to town.

Anytime someone tries use the 3 Mikes as the norm with me, I always tell them, EVERY single coach INCLUDING 2 of the Mike's, won at least 10 games in a season at least once in their tenure, with the exception of Whitworth before Bryant and Price that never made it to a Fall Saturday. Shuts them up really quick when I ask for their total number of 10 win seasons in their programs' history.

Yeah! For all of those that bitched and moaned about Gary and Verne, then Brad and Gary, y’all can go play in traffic!! Jesse and Joe are insufferable!!! I would rather listen to Beth Mowins and have the Kick Six played on continuous loop while having my fingernails pulled off with pliers than have Jesse and Joe on the call for us.

Don’t want that goofy arse anywhere near our football program!!
35-13 Bama

He gone!!
Back in July and August, I would’ve said 100% trap game. That would be basing it off of how they finished last season along with how tough this last four game stretch has been. Didn’t think their offense would be as bad as it it statistically, but they do have Mike Shula as OC. Don’t think their defense can hold up for 60 minutes against Ty and company.
We do have to come prepared though. Can’t treat this bunch like FSU.
