No. They'll stay.

My question is what does this do to our home and home series with Texas?

If they are a conference opponent then those OOC games will have to be replaced.

They are just announcing their intention not to re-up on the Big12 when the media contract expires in 2025. So at this point they are just announcing their intention to join the SEC. They can break the contract but it will be expensive.

Just a little tidbit. The Big Twelve had a scheduled video conference of all the AD's day before yesterday. All were invited. Texas and Oklahoma were no shows.

Thread on the Rant that Kansas is in talks with Big10. I think the Big 12 is dead man walking. I am just surprised it lased as long as it did.

I don't watch the NFL, because I don't like the NFL.

Welcome to NFL Lite - all the things you hate about the NFL, but with less talent.

NIL was the tipping point. Get used to the new normal

I don't think I will. I'm just going to bitch and complain until Saban retires, at which point, I'm going to stop planning my weekends around a football game.

I hope for a 16 team conference, if it happens, that we will no longer schedule cupcakes since we have 15 quality teams(for the most part) to play every year in conference.

Could be some great road games and get rid of the neutral site games.

I doubt it. Programs like the cupcake games, as do the cupcakes.

My biggest concern is the LSU game. Their program is defined by us dicking them over whenever they start to have success. Gonna be hard to keep that up if we don't play every year.

I'm seriously considering it, too. College football will be no different from the NFL in 5-10 years' time. I don't think I want any part of that.

It is clear that the leaders of the SEC schools don't care one iota about the feelings of their fans and alumni. The overwhelming majority of fans are against this. I'm afraid the neverending chase for the almighty dollar will destroy not just the SEC but college athletics itself.

I like this a hell of a lot more than Missouri, honestly. The 'old SEC' has been gone at least 10 years, and I'm sure some a lot older than me would say it hasn't been the same since 1992. I'd be saying something completely different if we hadn't added anyone in 2012, or if we had added Clemson and FSU/Georgia Tech, but the fact is that we added what's essentially a Big Ten school

These are good teams, they should give us good games and I don't personally have much against either of them. OU/Norman at least feels like an SEC environment. Norman's actually a lot like Tuscaloosa with shorter trees

I’ve talked to fans of several different SEC schools in the last two days and none of them like this move.

I don't think Kansas St would find a spot before TCU does.
