I get the chest pounding after last night, I was happy to see them do what they were expected to do. Let's see this team on the road against an actual competitor before we relax. This staff has a tendency to point at games like ULM and not get the boys ready to go the next week.

I'm happy with the team that played yesterday, but cautiously optimistic until we see what team shows up against Georgia on the road.

I'd love to see more rotation with players, like we had last night. We have too much talent to just have starters and guys walking the sidelines the whole game.

I loved the play calling last night. It was very balanced. I sincerely hope that Grubb doesn't freak out again, like he did with FSU, and get pass happy. This game plan would have helped our defense against FSU. We'll need this same attack against UGA.

We’ll see where things stand in two weeks. Next week, obviously won’t be 73-0, but Wisconsin isn’t very good.
Should be 31-10 type game. I’m optimistic. The talent is there. We’ll see.

To be determined. Reminded me of the Western Kentucky game from last year, just complete dominance over an overmatched team at home.

We won’t know until it’s an away game against a mid team we’re expected to win by 10-14. That’s always the formula for our losses. Need to see a full season of not rolling over when it gets tough

I wouldn't call it fools gold but it was something definitely needed. I'm still not giving this team the benefit of the doubt that they can continue to play at that level with emotion week in & out.

Cautious optimism. We've been talking about The Standard since last season. Last night, the team met The Standard. It's not about who you beat, it's how you beat them and the team played with a lot more effort and passion than last week. It wasn't perfect, but a lot of the issues we had last week seemed to have gotten corrected.

People will blow off this performance because it was ULM. IMO, it doesn't matter. You play with that level of intensity for 4 quarters and you win more often than you lose.

The big thing that we have yet to see from a DeBoer coached team is if they can play with that level of intensity and attention to detail week in and week out. If they can, they can still meet their goals this season.

It was entertaining, but it was ULM. No one should think this is an indication of how this team will play against a competitive team.

It was good to see they didn’t dial it in in the second half.

This….
I’ll say they looked great, but I really want to see the preparation executed against the likes of UGA and Vandy. You know what’s coming, did you prepare and/or adjust as needed. Great intensity, now show me the preparation to match that intensity.

I need them to play with their hair on fire the next two games, even if they take an L in Athens, before cautious optimism is even on the table.

I’m fine with a competitive loss to Georgia

I’m not okay with Wommack’s chucklefrick cover one robber being the only coverage all game

I’m not saying this about the team but wins over teams like ULM are prognosticator fools gold.

It was a fun game and glad to see certain positives.

But one thing I’m not convinced of is Wommack’s defense against option QBs and his refusal to adapt much

In game adjustments aren’t even a concern against ULM. They will be in every game til the November layup game.

We beat a team like that like we should. And that's good.

Hard to take anything else away from that.

Let's review after the next two games.

We needed to go out and show that we could execute against an opponent, any opponent.

Its 2020 all over again. A potential great offense. Suspect defense....If we get the defense squared up, we're a solid elite team. But I do not have solid belief in Wommack and that defense in SEC play on the road.

We will struggle against teams with decent OL and have to out score teams with strong OL. The front 7 is thin and my biggest concern. ULM front sucks on both LOS

No doubt and it looked more like the Alabama team that went to Baton Rouge and cleared that stadium out than what we’ve seen since that night.
