It does puzzle me that Enos wast named OC right after Locksley accepted the Maryland job. Makes we wonder if it was contract issues.. such as Saban wanted a 3 year deal with Enos with a crazy buyout.. and Enos not agreeing due to him just getting out of a lock down contract. Maybe he wants to be HC in 2 years.. and Bama wanted him to commit longer..? We might never know.. but it strange and I don't think Saban wanted this. He was big on Enos

that, at least, makes good sense

Dooley actually did a damn good job at Missouri this season. They ran spread, up tempo stuff but were physical on the LOS and were explosive. Drew Lock got much better and matured from last year to mid season this year.

It would cause a riot of laughter on the Rant but it would not be the worst hire in the world.

But he wasn’t a failed HC. Fat Bert hires him away before he could be considered a failure.

hey better be there Sunday morning. Where do you people come from?

I think his current job let’s them go to church and come in the afternoon. I coached HS football for 20 years and we never have come in til the afternoon. Makes no difference to me what Saban’s demands are, I am just saying he requires a lot and some coaches are a little more lenient. It’s not for everybody

I have 0 belief in his ability to maintain that. Also if we are going to settle like that go get the OC who runs an RPO offense to great effect in the Princeton OC.

so basically, Saban is a heathen? We should run this by Teague. He should know. (sorry Teague. I kind of had to do it. Most folks in my community probably think I am one except they'd more likely call it heathern : )

We can do much better than Derek Dooley. The guy is a cross eyed idiot. I would rather hire Butch Jones as the OC than Dooley.

Guess Saban goes to early Mass and expects everyone to join the Catholic ways just telling you what the guy said

Travis Reier Coaching Nugs

- Allen Mogrdige of FIU and Ryan Silverfield of Memphis have interviewed for the OL position. Joe Gilbert of Arizona a name to watch.

- Lance Taylor in play for the WR job.

Is the princeton OC a real candidate or personal choice? His offense looks like it'd be perfect for us.

ND's offense is trash. frick that.

After some quick research I'd be completely on board with hiring Gleeson. There's no chance Saban let's someone that young and inexperienced run the offense though.

I really want Silverfield if we can get him. Taylor has an ok resume, almost anyone is going to be a downgrade from Gattis recruiting and coaching wise there so I hope taylor is at least good in those areas.
