Agree. He is not Saban and doesn’t use the media to speak to players. Who knows what conversations are had inside the building.

You just claimed you worked in the sports field in some capacity
yesterday.

Then you said 90% of everyone here was probably fat, and ran the annual gump race.

If you're the only honest, fit, intelligent person here why are you posting here ?

You're so angry all the time. What are you so angry about Scotty ?

I know who's alter you are BTW

The deal is that the transfer portal is not going to be fixed in a way that will satisfy fans who want to go back to the old days where players had no clout.

Then you are going to continue to see this shite happen from now until you are on your death bed. People want the coaches to behave a certain way towards players, but coaches can't do that anymore because the players are now just as powerful as the coaches. Ryan Williams is a 17-year-old true freshman and is (likely) already a millionaire thanks to NIL. Add on to that the fact that he can transfer at any time if he doesn't like what's going on and you have a recipe for disciplinary and entitlement issues.

I did notice a big difference in Milroe after the South Carolina game.

I hope I'm wrong, but there seems to be a strange dynamic going on between he and Ryan Williams now. If the rumors are correct and Ohio State has offered RW a larger bag, I wonder if Milroe got word of it and is pissed if RW is even entertaining the thought?

I couldn't tell by most of the television coverage if RW was doubled the whole game, but I know on the interception in the end zone Milroe threw to a double covered Bernard and had RW in man breaking free to the other corner.

Maybe I'm reading too much into it, but it just didn't seem like JM targeted RW as much against SC. Missed him on an overthrow early but not much after that.

I don't mind his demeanor...I just don't like smiling after playing like crap, even with a win.

I did. Worked for S&C program at Bama 08-10. Worked for the athletic department as an undergrad before that. Then went to work for TCU and Texas A&m.

no way he can be pleased deep down

In 1998 he was a high school coach. In less than a quarter of a century he's gone from coaching Souix Falls to ALABAMA. In football.

Currently, he's 5-1 including a win over a team nobody else has beaten since 2020. His current yearly salary has 7 fricking zeroes in it. All this before the age of 50.

I'm pretty sure he can be pleased with starting 5-1 and 2-1 in the SEC.

i wouldnt be surprised if milroe does start freezing rw out. in the preseason almost every talking head would bring up kendrick law. once the season started, milroe has only given klaw cursory glances, 3 receptions i think.

my opinion is that milroe is a selfish player with sights set on new york. anyone taking juice away from that campaign gets ignored on the field. the saddest part is, if milroe does this and bama drops a couple games, nothing will be changed.

OK, tell me how you fix it in a way that passes federal court scrutiny.

People keep yapping about this from a sports standpoint, but the sports people aren't driving this car anymore.

I'll repeat from other threads: The Supreme Court decision that opened the door was 9-0, conservatives and liberals on the same side which never happens these days. Never.

And I believe it was Kavanaugh's opinion ... and he's no left-wing rabble rouser ... that signaled a willingness to go even farther in the players' favor.

What was is gone and is not coming back. There will never again be a scenario where a college coach gets to be R. Lee Ermey in "Full Metal Jacket" to his players as so many fans seem to salivate for.

Eventually an equilibrium will be reached, people are still figuring it out right now.

There is NOTHING that is going to be done to fix this. Nobody in congress is going to touch it. There was a reason it was done and for whom it has benefited most.

So Milroe is going to stop throwing to his best WR, and isnt giving KLaw many looks(he's been hurt since the first half of the UGA game) because....he is trying to win the heisman? Brilliant. Absolutely brilliant.

Criticizing Jalen's play Saturday is one thing, he definitely made some bad decisions, but this an insane level of conspiracy theory nonsense.

Things don’t look great right now and that’s disappointing and frustrating. That said, DeBoer deserves his chance to do things his way. Even if we lose 2-3 more games this year (which I think will happen), he should be allowed a chance to implement his system and plan for the program before we choose to kick him to the curb.

Yes, he took over a program that was in good shape and has lots of talent. That doesn’t change that everything is new for everyone involved. It’s new for the coaches, the players, the support staff, the administration, etc.

Much of our fanbase is embarrassing.

There wouldn't be anyone talking about his damn t-shirts and "demeanor" if we had won the Vandy game.
