Good for Huff but I don’t get the hire as HC. RB coach to HC that’s a big reach.

Willie Taggart did it recently. Several WR coaches have become HCs, including Dabo.

07-08 as a GA.

It would just be a huge downgrade, his biggest recruiting connection is the state of Alabama. Would hope Saban doesn't need help there

Who else can Saban raid off that James Franklin staff? Seems his grabbed a few of them now.

Who did he get other than Huff and Gattis?

It was no secret that UTk was looking for dirt to fire him for cause, so I'd want to know exactly what that dirt is before bringing him back in an on-field role. I hope it has something to do with Mims and Kirby ends up getting dragged into it too though.

it's a good bet that his termination agreement will preclude him from being paid severance if he takes another job, unless he's fired for cause, in which case the SEC office would probably have to approve his hire at an SEC school, which would probably not be smart to do anyway

Just because he was fired with cause based on UT's internal investigation doesn't necessarily mean the NCAA will slap him with a show cause. UT's definition of "cause" may just be the lower limit of what they believe can get them out of his contract. That doesn't necessarily mean that the "cause" is some sort of huge violation that the NCAA deems worthy of a show cause.

Pruitt is just going to have to let this play out, which unfortunately could last for a year or more depending on how quickly the NCAA wants to deliberate on it.

Been trending this way for weeks. Jeremy Pruitt has told those around him this year if he gets fired, he'll just go back to Alabama and work for Saban again.

Well then

Nope. There was no offset language in his contract, which was a big reason they were so hell bent on finding a reason to fire him for cause.
