Quote taken directly from Saban's press conference yesterday, just after the 8:00 minute mark for anyone interested LINK

The comment was made while discussing guys we'e lost in the transfer portal, the impact of the portal, etc.

Anyone know who he's talking about?

Gotta be JoJo or Aaron Anderson imo

At first I thought Cohen but his comments regarding having the right attitude lead me to believe it isn’t him

The question was about WRs that had been lost in the portal, so I'm assuming a WR.
Maybe he was referencing the Agiye Hall drama?

If he is talking specifically to WRs that bailed, then my guess would be JoJo. If we are just talking transfers in general, Drew Sanders is that guy.
Hall was a freaking headcase and I doubt seriously Saban lost sleep over him hitting the portal.

My guess is Trey Sanders. Saban gave high praise for Sanders after the Miami game where he scored a touchdown after battling back from the car wreck injuries.

After Sanders scored the touchdown one of the rehabilitation trainers met him on the field to congratulate him. He was the one that helped Sanders get back healthy

The question was related to WR. I think it was Earle. He would've seen significant playing time. I mean we haven't heard much about Kobe Prentice.

Aaron Anderson would've seen playing time this fall.

Drew Sanders is off to the League. My assumption is that he was talking about a guy who could help us this year.

Concerning, Trey Sanders. Wonderful story, but with the running back room like it is, Saban might miss Trey personally, but I don't think he is missing him from a contributor standpoint.

So, Jo Jo?

Agreed. If it’s about WR he’s talking about Jojo. I’m glad he’s gone though. He’s one of those guys that Saban falls in love with that must be practice warriors because the play on Saturdays left a whole lot to be desired. Ourlads has him projected to not break the top 3 WRs at TCU this year.

Never understood our fans love for JoJo. He must have had tremendous HS film tape and people must have fallen in love with that, because I just didn't see anything that thought he would contribute in any significant way just based on the limited playing time.

I was a big fan of JoJo. Thought he could be great in the return/punt game as well . Still think he will do well at TCU

It was the comparisons to Waddle. The guy had a problem fumbling the ball from what I could tell. That combined with being constantly injured wasn't a great combo.
