I feel like of all the positions, we are pretty well setup to be able to replace Jojo in the slot. Aaron Anderson looked really impressive in camp. Some of the other guys have played there before. I don't think having Jojo out for a few months is going to change any of the things the offense is trying to do.

Yep.

People keep asking where the rumor is coming from and if CodeName says it is true then that is good enough for me.

Calm down folks... If he had surgery today, then he should be back by mid to late September.

Agreed.

As far as our WRs go, they don't have to be 1st round picks right now. Barring our o line being awful, Bryce will get them the ball. They just gotta catch it. There is talent, they are capable of getting separation. Plenty of high powered passing attacks have had WRs that were never even close to being NFL stars.

Not saying that none of these guys won't be future first round picks, but if our rushing attack is good(it should be great) then this group of WRs will suffice IMO.

We'll be fine without him even if he missed the entire season.

I think most people are just disappointed because we expected him to have a huge year.

I think I would have been surprised if Earle had a "huge year" in 2022.

Ditto. Christian Leary is a better player in my opinion. Not saying that Earle is lousy but Leary is probably going to have the huge year.

If I were you, I wouldn't get my hopes too high that our WR play this year is comparable (in a bad way) to what you saw in the NC game. There were some serious locker room/chemistry issues at the WR/TE positions from a couple of (frankly) turds that aren't there anymore. We will be significantly better than what you saw in that game.

There's more than enough talent there to make up for Jojo.

If he were to play slot, even Jase and Gibbs are excellent in the slot. Which I think was probably the plan anyway.

The real part of the schedule doesn't happen until October 1 anyway. Fortunately he should be back by then.

Isn’t the freshmen WR Anderson hurt too or is that a different Anderson?

Preston is one to keep an eye on. He's been tearing it up since he arrived. That training with Devonta showed how serious he is. Probably one of the most technically advanced WRs we've ever signed.

It has been said Preston is the best WR out of Louisiana since Jamar Chase. I'm not surprised he's showing out.

That's saying a lot bc Cooper, Ridley, and Juedy were insane as freshmen.

Anybody heard anything on the freshman Kendrick Law? Think I remember hearing he looked good in the spring.
