It's not a far fetched idea at all. Did anybody think we were going to get embarrassed by Utah and Oklahoma? That is freshly in the memories for some of us.

Baylor has a good offense and the defense is just that bad. I mean we just got done giving up 34 points to a bad Auburn offense

I'm not saying that we can't lose to Baylor. He said that Baylor WILL beat us if we play them. That is a ridiculous, defeatist opinion imo.

I think we head to the Orange to play UVA or Cotton to play Memphis. Hopefully Orange and because it is a NY6 bowl.

Wherever it is hopefully we're mentally focused & prepared on winning.
We'll probably know by next Saturday night, early Sunday morning.
It be good finishing 11-2, positive momentum going into 2020.

I think that this bowl game is so important for momentum into next season.

If our players can't buy into that, and they don't get mentally prepared, and they don't take the game seriously, then I just don't know what the frick to even think about our players.

Overlooking the opponent, or not being able to get "inspired" shouldn't even be a "thing" at this point, no matter what is or isn't on the line. That is some of the most entitled horse-shite I've ever heard. There are plenty of things to play for in a non-playoff bowl game. Pride, future stock, living up to your end of the scholarship and all the other perks that come with playing at Bama, and to not be fricking embarrassed.

You would think that the players would want to beat at least one good team this year too.

Baylor and Memphis would be horrible matchups for this defense. Norvel might put up 60 points

I'm not putting much into the bowl game. Don't forgot that we'll have several players probably sit out due to the upcoming draft.

So is Cotton.

Rose Bowl
Fiesta Bowl
Sugar Bowl
Cotton Bowl
Orange Bowl
Peach Bowl

That's the NY6.

So why is Notre Dame not at all a factor for the Orange? Don’t they get the ACC affiliations? People might actually go to that one

30,000 total people will show up to watch us play either 4-loss Virginia team

I'm ok with players leaving not playing really. Get them out of the way and focus on the players that will be here next year.

The extra practice time that comes with the bowl game is critical especially for this team at this point. The coaches and players need the extra time.

Our second team should be able to beat Virginia.

They will absolutely move the ball on us.

That would be intriguing and draw eyeballs and put butts in the seats.

But everybody in a bowl will move the ball on us (this ain't the Bama D of old). I don't think they can stop the offense though.
